Has it Hermied?

How clear a pic can you get of the trichomes? They are your best and most reliable harvest indicator.

That's a seeded calyx. Rodelization can occur through multiple stressors. Light, damage, drought, and age can increase the likelihood of rodelization. When she rodelizes she will produce stamen (nanners). These are not genetic herming. If caused by genetics the plant will have calyx and pollen pods, rodelization, just nanners. Rodelization is selfing in nature. The plant is stressed to the point survival comes into question and the plant will fo what she needs to in order to continue her genetic line.
Interesting. Thanks for the feedback. You think I should cut her down now? Or wait 5-6 more days to hit the 10 week mark of flowering?

That makes sense also Another disadvantage would be the seeds’ worthlessness—it has the tendency to produce hermaphrodite plants as well. If they came from a hermie

This is about as clear as I'm able to get
I'd wait. I only see a couple amber trichs at the very top, but most are just starting to go cloudy, meaning your lower trichs are probably still clear and need time. You're top and outer trichs will mature a bit faster than the ones lower down. Let's see how she looks in 5 days.

Will do. My biggest concern was weighing pros and cons of waiting for trichs to amber up, vs giving possible seeds more time to develop (if herming is underway).

Also, seeds aren't the end of the world. How'd your plant get here? (Old timer kicking in) I've said it before and I'll probably say it again. Back in the day it wasn't IF your weed was seedy, it was HOW seedy your weed was. The weed was still good.

For sure ! I'm gonna just freeze and make some live bubble! I would definitely let it finish it's irrelevant at this point if u have seeds or not

My fingers are crossed!! One way or the other, my next generation is underway and looking pretty in coco... These girls are from the seeds I actually paid for. The current subject of this post was essentially just an experiment with the pack of the freebies that tagged along for the ride.
What size tent, lots of room? How you liking coco? Mixing with perlite or without?

4x4. So far so good w/ coco. Mix of 1/4 perlite, 1/4 wormy casts, and 2/4 coco expanded from brick. Used that formula to transplant the 3 girls in my previous pic last week. Each in a 3 gal fabric pot. It's technically my first time around the block for growing anything... Was legalized in my state not long ago, and I happened to be in the market for a new hobby. I started sprouting gen 2 about 1.5 months after the DWC (the possibly hermied lady we've been talking about today). No final results to compare the two growing mediums against one another yet, but hoping to find out soon enough!

I use wc too but mostly topdress with it, Promix prefered medium, l reuse my pots so nutes already there, might let cool for a time sometimes. Depends on pot. I like bigger pots, 4 gal is about smallest ive used in flower, transplant into big pot at switch, most growth done in flower. Dont veg often. I run into problems in veg bc of humidity in my area. What wattage in 4x4?

LED 2K model from a reputable brand, which is supposedly not enough light-power for my tent size, but it's working just fine for my purposes so far. It's all for personal consumption so anything more expensive seemed like overkill IMO
2k model? No idea, how many actual watts? 4x4 im using 600w but with newer tech you can flower same area for around 440w. Spectrum is important, more than power it seems. So might be why your doing so well.
