Why do you buy lights? You should just build them MacGyver.
I bought mine because of the three year warranty. American company, great service. Lots of people here make them though. But for you who claims to not have the skills to use a screw driver I suggest duck tape.

Don’t fuel him. He/she is no grower to accept broken product (lights of all things) as an okay thing. The way he or she talks just seems unreal and it’s having to much fun. That. Or he or she has a really fucked up life of getting ripped off all the time and just accepts it by “fixing it with duct tape”. Or a “bracket or some sort”. Lmfao. I don’t need to go any further to realize it’s all a joke. Maybe it hits the bottle and starts typing weird ass shit.
You mean like claiming you can get cheap shit fixed for free years later? But yes, it’s close to a joke, I mean come on, girl on the net crying about 150? Kids problems

My experience is that when you order from a Chinese supplier for anything, there are certain risks. Different culture and different expectations. Normally we have an American company in the middle who marks the price up and acts as a buffer and insurance for that marked up price. But when you order directly from China, guess what? You lose all that. I still order stuff from China, got some great lasers from there, thought there was no way I was going to get what was advertised because they were like 1/5th the expected price, but within a few weeks I got them and they were prefect. I will never buy any food from China anymore though, we had a bunch of people die from poisoned frozen dumplings from China. A disgruntled worker decided a good way to get pay-back was to poison the food.
Did you order it off Alibaba?

you say "budget" lighting, right, so what do you recommend for someone growing 6-8 plants in a 4x4x6 that wants quality but not necessarily the tip top of the product? And what pricing do you consider budget? I don't like to buy anything in life that's bottom of the barrel, but I'm new to this and don't wanna a-get ripped off b-get more than I need. (what I was getting is still back ordered so I haven't officially paid for anything yet)
Any reputable Chinese brand will run circles with any Timber light if you compare price vs performance. I don't like how Timber run their strips either.

I like what most manufacturers do and run 3000k and 4000k combined in every rail. One rail 3k and the other 4k combined with Osram 660nm reds.
Not single rails like Timbers do on their new strip lights, they seem cheap by design tbh.

You get the same LED diodes(Samsung 301's) and drivers for about half the price at Alibaba.

If you're on a budget, look into HID's. Most bang for the bucks is still 600w HPS.

You bought a Mars hydro product, if you did any research before buying you would know that it's semi disposable.

Good luck
If you read the post I've stated that. The complaint was about costumer service for a brand new item just delivered. I now know from from all the experts that I should have bought a better light to begin with. Having made the choice to go with a budget light I should have excepted the $20 refund and fixed the damaged light with duck tape shut my mouth. Thanks again for all your wisdom.

Anyone that would buy something new. Online or in a store , open the box and find it damaged like my light and didn't try to return it is an idiot. No mater if it was $159 Mars Hydro budget light or an $800 Timber. You guys that think just because someone buys a lower end product has to receive damaged goods and not return them and fix them yourself with duck tape are weird. Again I know it's a budget light it says it in the very first post. I'm the idiot for buying the light in the first place. At least I'm smart enough to return and not use duck tape.

Hello fellow rollitup members. Yesterday I received my ts1000 and when I opened the box I noticed the driver was disconnected. Upon further inspection I noticed 5 screws ,and one of the black nuts that hold the driver in place loose in the box. The 5 screws are out of the light itself. One of the post that holds the driver in place is knocked out of place and loose. And there is a dent and scratches on the plate. The only thing that could have moved around it the box smashing stuff was the driver so what damage could there by to that?

I Know the ts1000 is a budget light. But I think it should not be delivered in that shape. I have reached out to Mars-Hydro in many ways and I would just like a replacement. When [email protected] responded this is their solutionView attachment 4958508
I've asked for a different light or a refund. I will update how it all works out. Guess I will have to buy a better light next time. Wondering if anyone else has had this happen.
I purchased two of them and on one, the screws were loose but tightened back up. That does suck but if only aesthetics I'd take the $20 and buy from someone else. Amazon?

So you buy broken disposable cups and broken disposable silverware and don’t care. Just duct tape back together. Interesting??
I see a lead the horse to water type joke incoming......... Countless complaints over products/cs ten years in this forum and people still buy them.

Theres a little thing on the home page that tells us when somebody said something in a thread one posts in. Not for that I wouldn't even know where this thread was or to be honest you, girls crying over $150 is not that interesting.

What part of CHINA don't you get? You bought something from another country. Anybody with some basic common sense would not expect it to go just like Amazon, but you seem to be lacking some common sense.
