Adding sugar.. is it good?
Same time you add the grape Kool-Aid.Adding sugar.. is it good?
Adding Molasses to your soil feeds the microbes in the soil. It doesnt necessarily do anything to the plant. I wouldn't use Sugar, Molasses is the go to product instead. half the people swear by it and the other half swear against it. I wouldn't recommend it for a hydro setup. I use a teaspoon per week in my grow while others have said they only use it once or twice a month. Don't go to a hydro store looking for a carb booster, instead to to a grocery store and pick up Molasses for under $3.Does anyone really know about growing weed on here???
I ask myself that everytime I read a thread like thisDoes anyone really know about growing weed on here???
Yeah mate I mix up sugar and water into a thick paste and paint it on leaves individually. Don't waste ya time pouring it in ya medium. Plants love it!!Does anyone really know about growing weed on here???
I swear to god, there are like 10 people who for the past 20 years just go around pot boards and keep asking the same questions. Traffic goals?I ask myself that everytime I read a thread like this
Ya I mean it's all good to ask. I'm just not biting on those simple questions anymore. Easy to find the answer on whether you should put sugar in your nutes.I swear to god, there are like 10 people who for the past 20 years just go around pot boards and keep asking the same questions. Traffic goals?

There are many cannabis related websites spewing cannabis broscience like molasses sweetens and fattens the buds. That is all bullshit from some stoners and has no science to back it up.
Here's an article written by Dr. Linda Chalker-Scott who has a Ph.D. in Horticulture from Oregon State University.
“Molasses raises the sugar content of plants.” This bold statement has no basis in reality."
Molasses malarkey
Yesterday I received this link from a Facebook friend who said “when I read this I thought of you.” More likely she was thinking of (enjoying?) the mental agony I suffered as I waded t…gardenprofessors.com
"Now you dump a lot of molasses on the garden. Instantly, microbes sense the extra food and they start to multiply. Bacteria can divide (ie double the population) every 20 minutes. The population explodes very quickly. All those bacteria need to eat, and they quickly consume the molasses you added. As the food source runs out there is a massive famine and most of the bacteria die.
What has the molasses accomplished?"
Does Molasses Improve Soil and Plant Growth?
Should you add molasses to your garden and compost pile? Does it feed the microbes and is it necessary? Is it good for yo0ur plants?www.gardenmyths.com
Yes it's good if your in soil. Use only Un-sulphered molasses!!. Cannabis doesn't need the sulfur from regular sugars. Molasses only gives energy to the micro organisms that transfer hard nutrients into bioavailable energy for the roots, therefore the plant above it! Does anyone ROUND HERE Know anything bout growin weed "the last sentence was directed at smartass comments from other members, NOT THE original poster of the thread"Adding sugar.. is it good?
It gets gangrene toes aka root rot!!Can a plant suffer from diabetes? N if so what symptoms would it show?
Gets confused if sugar too low. Must inject insulin into main stem before feeding. Can a plant suffer from diabetes? N if so what symptoms would it show?
