I also just found out our 4 plant limit is only on Veging plants, so once they start to flower you are good to start another 4. Reading laws can really learn ya a thing or 2!

Wrong. 4 plant limit only. Whether they are 4 clones, 4 vegging plants or 4 flowering plants. 4 is the limit
Directly from the act:

(d) for an individual to possess, in a public place, one or more cannabis plants that are budding or flowering;
(e) for an individual to possess more than four cannabis plants that are not budding or flowering; or

Dude I’ve been a medical grower for nearly a decade. I know the laws

Maybe you need to do a little more reading.

I copied that directly from the Cannabis Act and it clearly defines that the limit is on plants that are not budding or flowering. I have a degree in law but I'm not flaunting that. I would hope I can interpret an Act.

You need to read the act again I think. It’s very clear in said act every household is allowed up to 4 plants only.

Growing more than four recreational cannabis plants per household (except in Quebec and Manitoba, where you can’t grow any) is illegal. If you live in a province or territory that permits home growing, make sure your house doesn’t have more than four plants. That includes your yard, shed, garage, etc.. And if you have roommates – it’s four recreational plants per house, not per person.

PART 1Prohibitions, Obligations and OffencesDIVISION 1Criminal Activities

Marginal note:Possession

8 (1) Unless authorized under this Act, it is prohibited

(a) for an individual who is 18 years of age or older to possess, in a public place, cannabis of one or more classes of cannabis the total amount of which, as determined in accordance with Schedule 3, is equivalent to more than 30 g of dried cannabis;

(b) for an individual who is 18 years of age or older to possess any cannabis that they know is illicit cannabis;

(c) for a young person to possess cannabis of one or more classes of cannabis the total amount of which, as determined in accordance with Schedule 3, is equivalent to more than 5 g of dried cannabis;

(d) for an individual to possess, in a public place, one or more cannabis plants that are budding or flowering;

(e) for an individual to possess more than four cannabis plants that are not budding or flowering; or

(f) for an organization to possess cannabis.

Legit the literal entire section on posession and specifically designates plants not budding or in flower, we will have to agree to disagree on this one.

Can you please provide some actual evidence that proves otherwise? As subsection e) was fairly descriptive on non budding and non flowering plants in regards to the 4 plant limit. If I am wrong I am wrong, but I would really like to see something something a little more definitive, to me that section is very clear and describes a limit on only non-flowering plants.. there is no reason to be rude as I am just showing where I received this information and it is the federal law word for word..

What’s so hard to grasp about a 4 plant limit? Like 4 plants is 4 plants? A 2 year old could understand this and yet you have a masters in law?
