so these bear walkers were indoors for about 14 days. i didn’t have room for them inside so i had my roomate plant them outdoors. he made a few holes. filled the holes with FFOF. added mykos and planted them in the ground.

they are just now at around 63d from sprout.

i know they would’ve been better off being planted outdoors or transplanted sooner. a lot could’ve been done differently lol.

all i’m asking is if you guys think they are done. i can’t take pictures of the trichomes but i’ve checked everywhere aside from breaking them open and checking inside lol.

my conclusion is based off the calyx. all trichomes aside from a few are milky/cloudy. there’s about 5% amber trichomes.

the calyxs also look swollen! BUT maybe this is just the first swell and they still have another few weeks because this is at most week 7 of flower. but then again i’ve seen autos go for ANYWHERE BETWEEN 50-110+ days from sprout.

please hit me with your opinions. thank yaE4805248-8FA0-46F2-9337-A5256615064C.jpeg1F079D95-D7CD-4CBA-9534-4535BE83CDED.jpeg0475A03E-E71B-460C-A075-5A532D2ABD31.jpeg4155888A-FFAA-4EDE-B50E-B28AFB06C349.jpeg6092D5D1-608C-4AE1-A8ED-16F95D03A2EA.jpeg2CAFF342-3FAD-4C5E-9620-EF3B34D717FC.jpegDBFD4759-E7C6-4DF0-A3E9-568BB88C5985.jpeg

Not ready and you have bugs
And there's a hair in the bud pic Number 6
yeah my hair is long as hell and thick.

anywho, i’m not seeing the bugs you speak of. they are outdoors so of course there are bugs. i even get spiders from time to time. i just knock the spiders off and the webs and they don’t come back. only had maybe 3 spiders. plants are still great.

brody.. they’re outdoors.. bugs are gonna eat em a little lol
I dissagree. Pest management is a must with outdoor crops.

This year all vegetation around my grow area was killed off way before I started my grow.

Then sprayed for good measure. Then sprayed again as they were stretching.

Now its BT for these ladys until 2 weeks before harvest.

Get your pest management under control.

okay so details please because i want to run bigger plants next year. i did go out and check for bugs and of course it’s not just grasshoppers and mealyflies it’s aphids i believe. they’re very minor. i only seen a handful all together. some white some with wings.

now how do i handle the bugs i have right now. and how do i take preventative measures for next crop.

Preventing bugs means clearing an area where the only living things are your plants.

I did a monthly neem spray during veg, then switched to BT once I saw pistils. BT once every 3 weeks does the trick for me.

Your plants are too close to done IMO to do much of anything now.

If they had a month ahead of them I would suggest Spinosad to take care of the Aphids and such.

Aphids can become a explosion colony. A handful now means a ton soon if nothing is done.

The fact that you are seeing them with wings means they are of adult age and spreading eggs to other parts of the plant and everything else that is vegetation near by.

Set sticky traps around the plant, put on a rubber glove and get in there to squish anything without wings.
