Agreed foxtailing or heat stress can also cause it to shoot white pistils, so maybe some further details on environment would also help. What strain is it some true sativas can go very long. Also your light could be to close or to strong and making it pop pistils. Best way is to check the tricomes. If they are turning cloudy amber they are done if still clear keep going.
yeah that sounds right this plant has mostly Diesel characteristics. As long as the trichomes continue to mature i'm fine waiting - there's not much amber in there at all yet. I think i will get a dimmer for those lights. In my other tent with the same light I got some bleaching on the highest buds. I did pick out a few nanners you're right.Foxtailing could be strain and genetic related alot of diesels foxtail and diesels go for a long time. Also to much intense light causes foxtailing and pistils to keep generating. I'd dim my light a bit if I was you I don't see any light burn or bleaching so it's not that serious but leds are tricky and still under the experimental stage that's why alot of people still use the tried and true light methods indoor unless they have too dollar for advanced set ups. For me it took a few grows to get to know the light and is sweat spots. I would just go by the tricomes at this point. Next run don't run at 100% to fast. Gradually turn it up a little each week and get the plants used to intensity. Then when they want the intense light they won't be shocked or stressed. Also keep watching for herming if it's throwing out pistils it might throw some nanners.
Sounds like a good plan friend. Keep an eye on them trichomes and dim the light and keep the heat in check as you are and she should come out nicely.yeah that sounds right this plant has mostly Diesel characteristics. I don't think your light is 800 watts man......This strain (Sour Diesel x AK47 cross) does seem to foxtail like mad and will keep throwing white pistils. I grew out a clone in a Solo cup, though and that one didn't really foxtail, and finished a couple weeks earlier at least. I think you're right @FrankWhite41 my light could be too bright. It's 800w LED and I have it at the very top of the tent but it might just be too much, maybe for this strain, idk. The biggest/tallest buds have the most foxtailing but even some of the lower buds that aren't getting much light are also foxtailing, so maybe it's genetics or something in my feed, idk. Tent has been kept in the 70's since i got my lung room cooled off, and leaf temps were under 80, so I don't think it's heat stress. Trichs right now on the two front plants are mostly all cloudy, few clear, occ rare amber. Big plant in the back seems a little slower... more clear trichs. I might cut the front two tomorrow and give the big girl another week.
that's what they claim... https://californialightworks.com/products/solarxtreme-1000I don't think your light is 800 watts man......
My light is claiming it is a 1000 watt HPS replacement, I can assure you, that is furthest from true, it is maybe 200 at best lol. They make bold claims as marketing unfortunately.that's what they claim... https://californialightworks.com/products/solarxtreme-1000
Oh it’s clw….that's what they claim... https://californialightworks.com/products/solarxtreme-1000
Clw isn't bad but still built on old technology. Most good leds more then exceed traditional HID lids while using less wattage. My light is claiming it is a 1000 watt HPS replacement, I can assure you, that is furthest from true, it is maybe 200 at best lol. I agree, the source is the problem, you just need to buy from a reputable brand, cheap Amazon lights will usually always be much weaker than their claims, but a Mars hydro (example) will be much more honest, you get what you pay for with LED's!Oh it’s clw….

Probably 110w at the wall.My light is claiming it is a 1000 watt HPS replacement, I can assure you, that is furthest from true, it is maybe 200 at best lol. They make bold claims as marketing unfortunately.
