White spots all over the place

Would anyone happen to know what this is? I made sure it wasnt a insect issue. Possibly a fungus infestation? Its eating up my Panamas pretty bad. Ive been growing for 5 years now and Ive never seen anything like it. If anyone knows please do share

White spots on leaves are usually a tell tale sign of pests, especially thrips as has been mentioned!

I live in a very low humidity environment so i guess I just never would have expected getting something like this. But the wife does have a bountiful indoor cactus collection. I suppose they could have infiltrated from there

Did you pull and inspect underside? Looks like mites, cheap loop magnifier

yeah no signs of mites. webs or on the undersides. They do seem to only be interested in my Panamas. The honduras sativa and the peach puree cbd are fairly untouched. Strange world we live in. It says online to use neem oil. Im hesitant but i guess i have no choice

I feel ya, they can happen in many ways sometimes even on clothing that was worn outdoors brought into a tent, but if you catch them early you should be able to handle them!

Yeah ive decided to place an order for some pottasium soap. Theres just something unsettling about spraying my plants down with neem oil. This is my first grow using organic nutes and ive read somewhere else online it attracts bugs a lot easier

Doesn’t look anything like mites, it’s thripes. Mite damage are lots of little holes, thrived eat and move making elongated damage and a little silvery coating. Good news for him as thrilled are easy to kill.

Thrips are usually one of the easier pests to deal with, I agree. White or silvery spots are a big indicator that you are dealing with thrips. Mites are holes or webbing and I'm not seeing that on them.

Currently battling thrips myself. I think patience and monitoring is key. Very easily spreads between plants but not massively damaging if addressed properly. I'm watering with mosquito bits to kill larvae, and I also sprayed with insecticide soap. Debating neem as well in a few days since I'm not in flower yet. Yellow / Blue sticky traps are solid for monitoring and I've heard good things about predatory mites but man they're expensive to ship.

Neem oils the route i decided to go. Ive learned fast. they can do a lot of damage in very little time. but im grateful its not mites
