Power Plant still filling the first trellis.
I'm applying LABs, silica and three different FPJ weekly. One day foliar, the other one by irrigation.

Second tent with not much care; should upgrade ventilation these days.
I've sprouted a regular seed, will start my breeding adventure if it's a male.

So vegging under my old 400w MH is not as good as vegging under the new Timber. Plants are much lankier with thinner stems. Need to upgrade our veg lighting. Thankfully the plants fill out nicely under the Redwood VS. Problem is that I am so busy these daze that I have neglected to do anything other than keep the blumat reservoir filled for these plants. 2 are falling off quickly in week 6/7. It is probably way past time to brew up a tea to green them back up....fish emulsion doesn’t seem to help.
Have not been posting here much because I’m just not that impressed this time around; guess they all can’t be zingers...

Sweet skittlez by Sweet Seeds..was happy with their Sweet Afghani; is now smoke but saved a cut.

In other news here’s the next set...
Got a Strelka clone or 2 in here plus Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl which was a freebie I think. The 2 in back were flipped to sex them and are now back on a short veg to “monster” them.

In the clone zone we’ve gone from solo cups to grow bags. They are now recovering from transplant. 6AEC091D-ED02-45AC-B20A-65574D3F72CD.jpeg
thank you that is all...:peace:

Hey man I saw that you use blumats, did you see a increase of growth when you went to blumats from watering by hand?

Yes soon after I started using the blumats I realized our plants seem to prefer the soil moist pretty much all the time instead of letting the top layer dry out in between waterings as I had been doing. Naturally, wet compost attracts gnats so I add a layer of pine bark nuggets as mulch & sprinkle on a copious amount of diatomaceous earth

Second that, since using blumats my room hasn’t stopped praying. I would definitely recommend them, great outdoors too.

I’m using 5 gallon fabric pots, do you have a suggestion on which carrot to use or how many carrots to use per pot? I’ve been growing 12 plants in 5 gallon pots in a 4 x 4 tent

You might get away with a single carrot in a 5g but having 2 per container is usually better if you use the small size carrots. So for 12 plants = 24 carrots which will be costly. Try setting the drip on the heavy side if one carrot per pot is all you have.

Yesterday was day 1 after 12/12 for the Power Plant.
There's a chance of running out of height. In that case will have to move the plant back to the 3x3 tent, 40cm/1.3ft taller.

Top dressed with a little fish meal, insect frass, gypsum, malted barley. EWC on top.

Also started to remove what would be popcorn if left in the plant. My first doing it, so i only go with a few cuts a day.

Cup is the regular seed i sowed.

Hey now! Looking slightly better after a round of aactea. I must report that monstering the plants can grow big ass buds but can also have the negative affect of heavy ass bud on thin ass branches. Tied this one to a sturdy piece of wood yet the top buds are pointing to the floor. Added my old blurple UFO led to help harden the colas shaded out by taller plants. Bad pic I know but...

Disturbing.... but could be worse

A tale of two plants... both Sweet Skittlez by Sweet Seeds. In week 8 now I think...
Monstering does make for more rapid maturation; they sorta pick up where they left off...
This photo bomb is a new clone that I never labeled so idk wtf it is...but you can see it is starting off nicely after a week in the bloom room...380A2CC2-30F0-4592-9959-CC57D7A2A991.jpeg
Have another plant too but it’s so hideous I took no pics....should be done in a couple weeks anyway thanks for checking meowt

Just a warning to my fellow blumat users to be on the lookout for big swings in temperature. It was so cool and dreary outside around here a couple weeks ago so we shut off the central a/c but then it got hot again like real fast which depleted the reservoir very quickly. All the plants got all droopy and dry but snapped back again once properly moistened. Damage was severe in one case; mild in most others. Many of the larger fans got shriveled but the buds look ok. Thank you carry on

Thinking about building some SIPs... they are working so well in the heat out in my patio garden....
Coming from years of hydro RDWC. My first organic round was a shit show. Having to check what needs water was crazy. Hydro you just fill it and leave for days on end. So it was a no brainer for me to switch to sips. Life’s to busy to be dicking with watering. Lol.

I’m going to have to wait a little bit on this purchase. Things are funny around here moneywise, everything that’s going on
You can get longer blumats that are designed for deeper pots (sorry if that was already mentioned). I've not seen any reviews from people who have used them, but I guess the obvious idea is to remove the need for multiple small blumats or drippers per pot.

Yeah I know that kind of situation, it sucks. Blumats need a relatively stable environment (rh and heat) as to not interfere too much with the pot moisture levels > flow rates. Timed drip systems don't have that sensitive type of limitation, although pump failures etc.
