I may need to clean out the whole system. I found slimy muck in my reservoir bucket; it’s probably bacteria. That’s clogging the blumats ugh

So I adjusted the blumat valves again last night but now I come home to water in the floor and an empty reservoir.... Watering by hand for awhile fuck it

Good late afternoon Growmies ! Wanted to share my organic grow of facemintz and black cheese from Hazeman. Using happy frog soil and jobes 444 organic ferts and 25% worm castings ( EWC for facemintz only ) "dude grows" recharge here and there and added perlite. Cooked for about a month. 1st is my black cheese and 2nd is my facemintz.. 
Almost one week since last update.
Power Plant was topped to her 3rd node. That one and the second are shooting it's branches.
Had some purple new growth, something that never happened to me, in any type of culture i did. I mean, either organics or soiless and mineral ferts. In fact, it also happened in the Sour Compassion seedling, which is being grown in a solo cup with just peat and perlite.
So i suspect is an enviromental thing, maybe cold? At first i added the humidifer because the CFLs and the wooden closet brought the humidity down, but now with the LED i may not need it.

Have identified two distinctly different phenotypes for the TGA Strelka strain we are running. Two of the plants are purple even on the buds; they have a skunky almost burnt rubber smell to them. One Strelka plant is a totally different color with lime green buds. Structure is very similar to the other 2 but this plant has a sweeter smell w/chem dawg undertones. This one has matured faster than all the rest and looks closer to finish than any of the plants in the room at just barely 8 weeks. Might pick this one soon.. stay tuned for pics. Final lap; week 9. Planning to pull one more Strelka plant tonight; mostly pretty much done. The rest will be chopped at 10 weeks. As I have said before “monstered“ plants mature faster; they still take about the same amount of total time in flowering but they also sort of pick up wherever they left off in bloom which helps shorten the ripening process. As you can see a few fans got singed from lack of water...nbd

Sweet & Delicious Afghani got an old school dank smell. Indescribable. Nice lateral stacking; buds are fatter than you can see in the pics due to the big fan leaves poppin out everywhere....

I still have some outdoor plants that i believe i didn't post here yet. 100% sativa strain, called River Haze. Pics are from the more advanced plant, a little to go.
Power Plant is doing very good and Sour Compassion already has a few nodes.

Here's what i ended up with after 12 weeks of 12/12 and 48hrs darkness (because i had to go out of town)
These ladies would not stop throwing white pistils! Maybe due to the slight top feed granules N overdose in veg that took a while into flower to get used up? Was humid here past couple weeks, so i got a perfect 6 day hang dry, dry trimmed and in jars now. Not too bad of a haul, got 18 quart jars full and curing. Great smoke already!

Outdoor River Haze is about to go. Amber trichs starting to appear.
A few days ago i set a Citizen COB array i bought a few months ago and was very surprised with how the plants responded.
Sour Compassion went from solo cup to a 2,5L pot; and soon Power Plant will go to her 10gal pot.

Coming along nicely!
Added worn casting slurry, plenty of barley and mulched with alfalfa.
1x suspected male so far if I’m correct, all plants still unsexed.

Def going through a learning curve with the COB fixture. Some sympthons on some leaves i never had before, with very very similar soil mixes.
Things i consider may contribute to this:
Environment:
- Something about the light itself, i read a few times about different Ca and Mg uptake when using led
- Something regarding low temps
- Something regarding the use of the humidifier in conjunction with the low temp
- Surely a combination of all of the above
Things i've done that may have contributed to this:
- A few foliar neem applications with lights on. Since the lights are like 3ft above the canopy, i thought it would be safe to do a foliar application.
I didn't notice anything wrong the first few days after the foliar neem oil, but i name it because it has something to do.
- Having the humidifier on, maybe the spots on the leaves are because of contact between them? But i see spots in another places

Had issues my self when I first switched to COB leds; they will suck down more due to the increase of energy. Never had use for a humidifier either; always had the opposite problem. My dehumidifier is the main water supply for the indoor garden this time of year...

Have not been very active here because my new job is slowly sucking my soul down into the abyss and the rest of my time is spent trimming all these buds...the Strelka by TGA seeds is most impressive this harvest...

Ya, it's crazy how much more nutrients they need when they get tons of light. Makes sense though. Someone exercising more needs more nutrients too. Same principle kinda. Keep growing Dick.

During week 7, plant wasn't watered for 11 days

Interesting... in my experience whenever the soil gets too dry the microbes die off and the smell is never as pungent.
I wonder if it’s a case of density?
Think. Most supermarket veggies n stuff are mostly water weight. The genetics will produce their best if the conditions are favourable. Yet genetically the plant can only produce X amount of cannabinoids. If the plant has more green bud mass it’ll be percentage wise less potent than the same strain with smaller buds.
Sometimes bigger is not always better. Maximising the genetic potential of the seed is what we’re trying to achieve
