Hello and welcome.
A few months ago due to lack of choice at the local hydro shop, I picked up a bag of coco loco.
They were out of pro mix bx/hp, don't feel like going back to coco coir, so I gave it a try and now I like it.
It already has some organic supplements but I amended it with more EWC, some azomite, more garden lime,
some One Shot by Nectar for the Gods, some mykos at transplant. Some Recharge a couple times.
I bought a cheap water filter for the chloramine in my tap water. I've never been an organic grower, probably not even now, lol.
But I'm using water only except epsom salt and k sulfate occasionally not every watering.
I grew in coco for almost 10 years and loved it. The only reason I quit is disposing of the used material. I reused coco 3 times before disposing of it, adding a little new coco each time. I put the old stuff in a small unused garden area for years. That dang hydrophobic shit would just sit there like a 3 foot deep bog of coco. Barely breaking down.
I began to be afraid that it would catch fire one day and smolder for a long time.
No starter pics right now. I do perpetual grow only 3 or 4 at a time.
Waiting for the last Sundae Dough to finish as it's going several weeks longer than it's 2 sisters already harvested.
Have various Kush going in there now. 2 Skywalker, A lemon Larry, and Godfather kush...I think, lol.
