So then you decided to come on a thread that is about anime to what do you say ignorant Americans and call it animated cartoons just to start some s*** or was there some point to all this if you're from Japan and have anything to do with Japanese cartoons let me know man love to hear your opinion besides I think they are shity and as a child I lived in Okinawa so I do have some experience with some of that stuff
Start shit? Dude, you decided to display your ignorance, deal with it. Bad luck that you happened to pick a Japanese guy.

You’re an idiot if you think I’m going to send a pic to some army brat who thinks that anime means something different than cartoons. You have nothing to do with them so not sure why you would be offended by me saying the ones in Japan on tv are low quality.

Actually there is something I am more interested in knowing from the group. Do you watch them dubbed or subtitled? I really hate the dubbed versions, never think the acting is as good.

heck i always thought Japanese Anime was a cartooning style........some of the art work is incredible....especially the early stuff from the 90's
It’s gotten progressively worse in my opinion. The stuff we had when I was a kid in the 70s and 80s was much better than the stuff my kids watched. The stand alone stuff is much better than the tv stuff though. But I studied film/animation in college so I’m a little picky I guess.

Actually i've been catching them in both styles honestly. English dubbed is mostly on Netflix i've found, Crunchy dubbed and subtitled......just fyi...don't get the Russian or the German ones....::::shutter::::

If you like fist of the north star there was a great series of films that retold it through the different characters. Very cool. That’s the stuff I grew up with.
