Autoflowers at 13 weeks...are they ready?

Hi all,

I'm coming to the end of my first grow and the final stage just seems to be taking forever. The marketing material says they should be ready in 8-9 weeks but I've read on these forums that a few extra weeks is common. I'm now a few days off week 14 since sprouting. I have three plants - one of them looks potentially ready, while the other two are still going.

I guess I'm just looking for advice...have others had autoflowers go into week 14? I feel the trichomes have been cloudy for a couple of weeks but I still don't see any amber. They were all planted at the same time and the biggest one (on the left) still has at least 3-4 weeks left (which will take it to 18 weeks!).

I'm growing in coco coir with LED lights and use Flora Trio. I overfed during the first 5 weeks (using nutes every watering rather than every second feed) and the humidity level is too high (around 60 RH) but otherwise conditions should be pretty good for growing. Any tips are greatly appreciated!

They make it very misleading for new growers. Once you see first signs of flowering then it’ll be 8-9 weeks after that.

Chill for another 4 weeks and you should have some nice smoke.

Thanks for the responses - I'll sit tight for another month. I guess next time I might just go for photoperiods! I'm curently growing Girl Scout Cookies so very much looking forward to a smoke :)

When almost all the white pistils have changed color and receded you will be at the beginning of the harvest window.

Patience, I know it feels like forever ;)

Cheers
