I’d say it’s on a case by case basis. If the cops and judge feel like being pricks that day then up to 14 years is the penalty. Believe it or not, I really don’t care. I’m not risking losing my house,car etc

Acmpr is free for up to 19 indoor plants, plus you are still allowed the legal 4.

With a acmpr you’re allowed to carry up to 150g anywhere in Canada. Storage is unlimited weather you are acmpr or just a rec grower.

You honestly think that a judge is going to give out 14 years for 4 extra plants? Come on man
Last year they busted about 10-15 giant greenhouses just outside the GTA with 10000 + plants plus alot already dry ready for selling and I will guarantee those guys are out on bail or even a promise to appear and in the end they won't even get close to 14 years.
Like I said a pedophile who rapes children multiple times gets 2 years
But ya definitely going to give 14 years for 4 plants...
You know it's up to the judge, doesn't matter what the cops or the politicians think. And if you go to court have a house a full time job and contribute to society in a positive way there's absolutely no way any judge is going to give you jail time for growing a couple more plants than the limit for personal use..sorry dude not happening

Just started growing my 4 legal plants here in Ontario but can’t help but ask whats the punishment if I decide to grow 6 or even 8 plants? Do the cops even care?
Anybody have any knowledge about this? Is it a slap on the wrist with a small fine or will I be doing hard time…which I doubt being in Canada after all. Just curious as I would like to flower 4 plants but clone 4 new plants for my next grow.

Likely just a fine but could give you a criminal conviction if they choose to push things. That will take away your ability to say go to the USA without paying for an exemption. Will also limit your employment eligibility in some places that require a clean record. Most likely not a big deal but it is possible it could screw many things up. Seems foolish to chance it but to each their own.

Mines 8g a day I'm allowed about 40 plants (limit just got increased from 5g/day which was 25 plants) plus the 4 rec. I can carry alot on me so I dont worry about rec.

Truth is you're wrong and I'm right. As I stated before is it likely to go to jail for 14 years? No. But it is still a possibility to go to jail or pay large fines. Which imo is very stupid considering the easy ways to obtain an acmpr.

You ever dealt with the Canadian legal system? I'm thinking no by your grasp of Canadian legality. Just a FYI a maximum sentence is just that the maximum and they very rarely give it out.
I watched the judge chew out the prosecution for charging me with a gram of weed when I was 18.
They don't like over zealous cops and prosecutors wasting their time and tax payers money on nonsense.

I have a grip on reality. I legally grow weed. I did research and got papers to be legal. You are the one who needs a grip on reality. You keep saying I said he's going to jail for 14 years when I actually never said that at all. I said that's the penalties which is what he asked for. I didn't make the shit up man. The fact is that shit happens. A small kitchen fire brings police and fire department to your home. No need to kick down the door. Or say some dick ratting you out. Just never know. You also don't know the OPs legal status. Perhaps lots of trouble prior and now this becomes a way for angry judge to get you. Very unlikely to get any jail time but the max sentence is a weapon in their arsenal. Not worth the risk IMO but people can risk whatever they like.
