Morning wake and bake is in top gear.Just continue with a mix of veg and bloom nutes at whatever I feel like?Follow most of the advice given here. It’ll happen.
Temperature you mean?Or food? Will be a challenge getting the temp up.It's called rodelization. You let your plant continue to flower past it's harvest window and put extra heat on it and alot of cultivars (but not all) will shoot some nanners. Pollen from these nanners will produce fem seeds. The only drawback is these seeds will be more prone to intersex traits being that you selected for that trait. The herm apple doesn't fall far from the herm tree if you know what mean. Somma brought this tech to mass attention around 2000.
That being said, I'd say go for it
By heat I mean stress in general.. Hot/cold temps, too much nitrogen, interrupted dark cycle, ect. Keep in mind that it'll take 4-6wks for the seeds to mature after you get it to pollinate itself. Quite an investment of time for seeds that will carry that trait to produce nanners when stressed. They'll be all female tho and you may find one that grows without any outward hermi issues but it'll be in the genotype and future generations from that plant will express as hermi.Temperature you mean?Or food? Perhaps a pic of Trump in front of her will get her water boiling lol.Thanks.By heat I mean stress in general.. Hot/cold temps, too much nitrogen, interrupted dark cycle, ect. Well good news,I chopped a bud off and found two seeds, normally Ive only flowered her 9-10 weeks so it appears if you wait long enough it will happen.I havent found any nanners and since its been freezing at night now I chopped her.Hopefully Ill find some more.I have an outdoor plant that I’ve been putting into darkness since June 21. Was thinking if I leave her be for another couple of months will she hermi and make me some seeds? I’ll have to put in the garage by a window as it will be cold here soon enough.
What say you?View attachment 4969646
Your pretty much SOL now. Since you've sprayed the plant it is not consumable. It has also shown resistance to reversing so it may never throw male flowers. You could let it keep flowering for as long as you can ,if your determined to try and get female pollen from it.question
what if you’ve sprayed colloidal silver on your plant a month ago
it’s almost done flowering with no seed pods.
Would it make sense to leave it to Rodelization because I can’t smoke these flowers because they’ve been sprayed with silver right?
basically if my sts didn’t take or wasn’t strong enough and I want feminized seeds what are my options? Thanks again!
I only sprayed during veg on the junction of the stalk and branch. With CS you have to spray the entire time.
Did you get viable pollen this way?I only sprayed during veg on the junction of the stalk and branch.
When they did start to flower, just the sprayed areas grew male flowers
Just allowed them to open and pollinate the plant it was growing on. Some people harvest the flowers and dry separate.Did you get viable pollen this way?
Every time I've stopped spraying CS early, I've ended up with sterile pollen. Were you using STS?Just allowed them to open and pollinate the plant it was growing on. Some people harvest the flowers and dry separate.
@Budzbuddha has a good thread on it https://www.rollitup.org/t/seed-making-made-easy-selfing-a-plant.999543/
I used the ultra cs he posted on the first page of the thread. Maybe its your drying or storage thats killing it.Every time I've stopped spraying CS early, I've ended up with sterile pollen. Were you using STS?
