I'm using Masterblend and also use it for kratky jar herbs and houseplants too. I am adding Flower Fuel now that I am in flower.
I have been using Masterblend, epsom salts and calcium nitrate for growing hot peppers for years now. I use it in soil and this year I am also using it in a dutch bucket system I set up. Having awesome results.
I recently started using it on some white widows to try to correct a problem Im having with them.
Haven't seen any improvements yet but am curious how you use the Masterblend. Any different doses between veg and flower? Ive read several different internet threads about it and of course most are different.
Let me know. Ive got plenty of it around here.

Dynagro Foliage for veg then Bloom formula for flower + Protek (silica).

About to switch to organic for awhile. Homemade peat mix with compost & top dress with amendments for feeding. Also working on some fermented extracts with fish meal
How many times can u give a plant nutes in veg and flower?

Less is more usually. You would ideally want to let the plant tell you when it is hungry. You would not want to feed beyond once every other water usually to allow salts to be removed and not build up and allow the plant to use what has been given and avoid burn and lock out.

I'm using it for the grow journal in my signature. I use 2g Masterblend, 1g epsom, 2g calcium nitrate per gallon of tap water. I feed that to everything in the house, as soon as a seed pops. For cannabis once I switched to 12/12 I started adding 1/4 dose of flower fuel each feeding until I got up to 75% strength. My local tap water is 340ppm and after mixing nutrients I'm at 840ppm. The pH comes out a tad bit high 6.7ish but I didn't even start adjusting it down until a few feedings ago.

That same mix (even with the flower fuel if there are leftovers) goes for monsterra, genovese basil, mint, green onions, lemon basil, bonsai mother plant, jalapeno plant, coleus lol.. you name it, it likes the Masterblend :)

I feed mostly at every watering start to finish no flush in soiless medium like peat & coco. The Dyna Gro is very concentrated the little bottles go a long way for me. I run the Foliage formula around 250-300 ppms @ 6.0-6.5ph. Use that until wk 3 flower then switch to bloom bottle, 500ppm max @ 5.5-6.0ph. My plants don't fade & purple at day 40 unless they are natural purple buds.

I do not buy "expensive" nutes, because being from South America, those products are way overpriced here due to taxes and etc.

So if i do mineral ferts, i just buy a national one, similar to GH, DynaGro, etc.
My preference is to go with a solid nutrient because i don't like paying for water, but i understand sometimes is more comfortable to have the bottled nutrient.

But i'm an (mostly) organic grower, so i just go with quality EWC, good dry amendments and homemade nutrients made with KNF recipes.

Most of the stuff out there is pretty much the same stuff in slightly different ratios. Some split things out into multiple bottles while others are just a simple 1,2, or 3 parts. Even those usually have a bunch of other unnecessary products they try and get you to buy.

Different bottle, label, name. The ingredients all come from the same chemical plants. Now organic is an entirely different story.

If you're just starting out just get some base nutrients and go with those. Don't get caught up in all the marketing and end up with a dozen bottles of stuff to mix up that you don't need and will likely cause you to overfeed your plants ending with KFC. Kentucky Fried Cannabis.

Good luck.

Water every day or multiple times. At some point plants grown in coco can or should be watered multiple times. I'm just lazy & handwater once a day. With my oranic soil mix I water every few days.

Gotcha thanks. How do I figure out which nutrients should be used in flower and veg? Does it say on the bottles most of the time?
