@Southernontariogrower "Good gardening practices grow weed. Learn how a plant grows. How much water to give so plants thrive is a good start." - all that!....... and money! Lol
If he can keep 'em alive until flowering he has one helluva light for an epic flower out. He won't be hearing you need more light. If he was careful and added a decent T5HO fixture he might be able to make it all the way through without another light.Love these newbs with cash. Think money grows weed? Good gardening practices grow weed. Learn how a plant grows. How much water to give so plants thrive is a good start. I bought a 150w 3k and thats strong for seedlings. But they are light worshippers arent they.
I used the smaller light last time I didn’t buy the hlg until I started flowering, I’m just gonna stick reading articles thanks for trying to help tho lolIf he can keep 'em alive until flowering he has one helluva light for an epic flower out. I think he bought a great light, he just needs 2 more less good lights LOL
Rockwool sucks for seedlings. I would germinate til you see the taproot, and put it into soil. Easy on the light until she gets a few sets of leaves. Don't overwater. They need very little water at that stage.Thank you

Rapid rooters thenI’m using dwc
Same here. I can use rockwool with cuttings, but with seedlings I can never get the moisture level right. Rapid rooters work perfect for me, with seedlings and cuttings.I used rapid rooters when I ran dwc............I tried rockwool and didn't have much luck.........including damping off.
I'm sure there are growers that use rockwool successfully..........just not me.
Nice, any grow you get to kill yourself is a good grow. You did well.I know it’s not very good but that was my first grow
Terrific information for him, great looking out.
Thank you. I felt sorry for the guy when he posted the pic from his grow. Not that it looked bad, he just seemed really humbled and bummed. I know that feeling well! LolNice, any grow you get to kill yourself is a good grow. You did well.

Looks good, very good for cherry pop!I know it’s not very good but that was my first grow
Thanks I did run into a ton of problems I nute burned them twice lol and one day when I would usually change the water in the buckets I just topped them back up with nute water and I think all salt plugged the airstones. I’m trying to build an RDWC at the moment, just saving up a bit and hoping it’s ready for flowerWas broke this year so back to basics, bough enough to feed for season and they are looking better than ever.

Cannabis growing has humbled us all at one time or another. God knows I've done some doozies.Thank you. I felt sorry for the guy when he posted the pic from his grow. Not that it looked bad, he just seemed really humbled and bummed. I know that feeling well! Lol
Yea, me too. I still do. Every day is still a learning process for me.Cannabis growing has humbled us all at one time or another. God knows I've done some doozies.
Stop looking on YouTube growers. While many people do use rockwool cubes in DWC it's better to use something like jiffy pucks/peat at the core IMO, it's also way better to start seeds in.I’m using dwc
I’ll try the jiffy pucks or rapid rooters next time as previously suggested but I’m pretty sure it was a me problem not the rockwools faultStop looking on YouTube growers.
