Growth seems to be a bit slow, probably because it's cold in the garage with the window open for airflow... using a led bulb with plastic part cut off for extra light, looks healthy imo, cup was super light like before i watered it when i checked on it this morning so i watered it. Gonna wait like a week before watering again because it holds moisture well. It's been 4 days since it poked out from the soil, germinated using damp napkin method. Popped around 12 hours and saw a tiny root inside not yet sticking out and i threw it straight into soil20201204_122317.jpg20201207_141652.jpg20201208_112205.jpg

So i downloaded a lux meter on my galaxy s10 and apparently the led bulb with no cover/diffuser is hitting 10,000 lux, about 12 inches away

Thanks, I'm gonna top it and try to clone with the top, gonna wait for top to be like 8 inches though. I want to flower both at the same time so i can harvest within a close interval and let the mother grow do some experimental super late harvests to see how the smaller buds come out if left to flower for a long time

Day 8, brought it inside to warmer temps and switched to 6-8 hours light/2 hours dark for a short experiment, stem turned a proper green after letting it sit in darkness, was white/pale and slight reddish at the soil

Changed to a 1100 lumen bulb with plastic part on instead of 800 with plastic off and now it's sitting 5 inches right below bulb at 20-25,000 lux let's see how it goes now, gonna stick with 18/6 schedule for now, i think my inconsistent light times might have slowed its growth
