And...we're off. 3 of each. I expect all 6 to germ. I won't be transplanting this time. No topping or LST either. A little lolloping..but that's it. Lights are a Timber Vero COB 400 watt, plus a pair of Platinum P300 which I will add during flower. The nutes are General Hydroponics which I begin using 1/2 strength at 21 days. I'll use Grow, Calmag, and BioMarine. the soil is FFOF with a layer of seed starter soil on top. I use tap-water, which seems to work fine without any PH issues. I'll switch to Bloom formula at the end of stretch. I generally go 80 days from sprout and yield about 2 oz per plant. I could yield more but I already have more flower than I know what to do with. 5 gallon grow bags.

Sept is the beginning of growing season for me as the temps are contusive. Last year I had good success with RocBud but I don't think I would grow it again as almost every plant foxtailed like crazy. Mephisto are still top of the heap as far as I'm concerned. I'm very curious about Ethos autos. I might try them next.

Curious, have you had bad experiences with LST and topping, or is it more an issue of looking for taller narrower plants?

It's because I don't really want to yield more than about 2 oz per plant. This is an Alien V Triangle that I didn't top or train. I keep a 40 watt cfl inches away during seedling phase to stop it from becoming leggy. This helps avoid the Christmas tree structure. Even when they do the xmas tree thing...not letting them start off as leggy keeps things fairly even. If I have one good cola and 13 or 14 good satellite buds...I end up with enough.

6 out of 6 germ'd. I put them directly into 5 gal grow bags. For watering I'm just circling the seedling with a little water so that oxygen isn't cut off. Lots of misting too.

Hey McStrats, I'd really love to see you kill it with some Night Owl(Daz who did breeding for Mephisto). Here are close ups of buds from Galexy Brain(Ace Zamaldica x Super Sativa leaning Cosmic Queen). Smells so sweet, like a candy.20211119_073835.jpg20211119_073907.jpg

MATTYMATT726..Nice! if you'd be so kind...please recommend me some Night Owl beans (and where I can get them) and I'll run them on my next grow. I'm going to grow 6 plants. 2 3BOG, and 4 that you suggest :bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

Multiuniversebeans has a good selection in stock. His latest Halloween drop gave way to Cosmic Queen x Bruce Banner 3 from Dark Horse. Got those myself. I'm a Sativa lover. I'm almost done with his Galexy Brain and I'm going to be doing his Bubblegum Queen (CQx Mephisto Hubbabubbahaze) and his Mango Isle(Zamaldica x Mephisto Mango Smile). He has a mostly Indica called Blue Microverse, though not sure if in stock. This Galaxy Brain is his 1st plant I'm doing, but I've got 4 more on deck. Might do 1 of each in 2 gal under my new light in the next 2 weeks when it gets in.
