Too much, or not enough?

Greetings....not not sure what I'm up against here. Any advice would be appreciated:

Strain- White Widow
Small cabinet DWC.
2 weeks into veg.
Cal-Mag at 100 ppm, GH 3 part at 200ppm.
Ph 5.8 and very stable.
150watt led panel set at 50%
Nutrient concentration and light intensity are based on my last grow, which was successful and without issue.

It looks like nute burn to me, but 300ppm seems a little low to be causing burn. Could this be a Calcium deficiency? Something else?

Should I just run plain ph'd water for a day or two?

Not sure what to do. Havent seen anything this bad since my rookie grow 10 yrs ago.

Thanks

What’s your water PPM before you add stuff? That’s not calcium deficiency. Newest growth is normal.

You could change t he chambe r out and see how it gos, as above, new growth looks ok soits problem could be over, sometimes a plant will do odd things. But it cant hurt to change it out

Most certainly root related. Do you use and preventatives against pathogens and parasitic oomycetes like pythium? Chlorine is probably the most widely commercially used in terms of oxidizers. I use regular bleach(sodium hypochlorite) at 1-2ppm residual currently in Aero.

3-5ppm is recommended in DWC depending on plant size and count. Hope that helps.

Ah here's the dilution calculator I've always used: Chlorine dilution calculator

Flushed and ran at 0ppm for 2 days, then slowly increases to 100ppm. I'm mainlining so its been topped twice and lollipopped below each top. Same the keeps happening...new growth looks good. Next node grow in, then brown spots start to show on older fan leaves. This is followed by leaf browning, dead and dry leaves.

Currently running at 100-125 ppm, 3 part GH flora. 5.8 ph....ph is stable.

I currently use diluted pool shock. Added every 2-3 days at a rate of 4ppm(based off initial dilution and reservoir capacity) Roots look healthy and white. No slime or funky smells.

How often you changing nutes? Should be quite regular

Try bleach instead. While I had Pool Shock working fine with Dyna Gro I've always gone back to bleach. Your plants looks like mine did when they started out with Mega Crop 2 part while running Pool Shock.

I don't know if it may cause precipitations or what's going on. I never got it to work. Went back to old faithful bleach after a couple of weeks and plants recovered with a great harvest.

I'll likely give that a try. I upped the nutes and new growth looks good. Too early to tell if that was the fix since it usually takes a few days for the spots to show. Either way, I'll be switching to bleach in a day or two with the next res change. Thanks!
