I watered last night with cal mag and ph'd water. The medium is still wet though should I wait to try and correct? I feel like they need nutes but I don't want to overwater and cause another problem.

You should have added food,always food.You can spray them with epsom a pinch to 500ml.Give them some Mg.

So I can spray them with some dissolved Epsom salts to give them some Mg. Don't feed until next watering and feed every watering thereafter.

Where most fail in coco is proper drain to waste,so you need a way for runoff to be collected.The rest is easy.Feed,feed,repeat.

Update! The Girls are looking great with the exception of the old spots that were on the leaves. I was watering with my lights on in the tent and I believe that's what caused the brown spots.The yellowing is gone and they are looking green and already smelling. Thank you all for the advice!

Congrats, they look better. All of your coco should be moist and it looks like you have some dry coco in the pots. I'd advise you feed to runoff daily and make sure your pots are raised so they don't sit in the runoff water. Drain or vacuum the runoff.

Buy yourself a cheap watering can that has a long spout so you can get under any foliage, even with it super low. They cost 10-15 bucks and will help you keep water off the leaves.

Yep. There are lots of ways to skin this goat, but I chose to get big fairly deep saucers and then round 'cake cooling' racks to sit underneath that raise the pots up by an inch. Then when the runoff happens I can use either a 100ml syringe to suck it up (If I'm keeping them in the tent) or I do it in a deep sink with the racks and let it all head down the drain.

A pick with my poor much abused Autos a few weeks back to show:



I've been using boxes to even out the canopy height since I have 3 different types of auto and they're all growing at different speeds and heights.

Ok thanks for the advice, I'll make sure to wet all of the Coco and feed till runoff. I have my plants raised using drink crates but I don't vacuum the runoff, I let it evaporate. Could that cause mold? My RH is staying around 51%.

I was wondering what to do in case one gets taller than the others. The AK-47 seems to be stretching a little faster than the others.

Yeah, that's the best I could come up with given the situation. I wasn't smart enough to run all one type, so they're pretty divergent. Even the two Northern Lights I did...one is 20" and the other is 13". I did top them all, which worked and did some minor LST, but they're all doing their own things.

As a first grow, they've all had their share of abuses, but have been doing ok...not because of me but in spite of me. I'm happy with whatever they do this time around but here's where I am now:



You can see there's been some trouble along the way, but still performing. Next time will be way better.

Right on man, love it. I'm not expecting a huge harvest this time but I'm having fun. I hope mine look as good as yours do by the time they make it there, if they make it .

I've done just about everything wrong along the way and that has taught me more about how to do things right. I'm sure I'll yet again re-learn on the next round. I'm by nature a process person, so this has been great fun figuring out how and why stuff did or didn't work. I sounds corny, but it's been a totally fascinating learning experience.

There's so much garbage out there and there's a ton of 'but...' too. So yeah, you can read as much as you want but you really need to get your fingers dirty if you want to figure out any of it. Props to the guys around here who have consistently grown and do amazing things with each passing season.

I am not horticulturally unaware and do pretty well...but these are not weeds and their genetics are so twisted up at this point; and we're asking them to do things that they really don't want to do in the 'wild' so yeah...lots of learning.

Yeah, somewhere 3-5 nodes in? If you have enough stem to work with you should be able to. That's when I started pushing 'em around a bit.
