Thrips should have preditors, But I can't remember what it is. May have to endure a bad season to allow the preditor population to respond. Or you can buy preds like ladybugs or preying mantis. This can be very effective, but timing can be critical.

You could try predatory mites as an alternative. Amblyseius cucumeris supposedly take care of thrips, they're pretty cheap too though you have to pay for next day shipping. I've never ordered from them before but you can check out predatory mites at naturesgoodguys.com

I second Citric Acid, it works for pretty much any insect you'll encounter indoors. I think it just desiccates them, works for eggs too. I usually hose the plant down with 2-3 t citric acid per quart, then do a root drench with neem. The citric acid solution is super low PH so don't drench your roots in it.

Monterey Garden Spray w/spinosad. Safe for organics and it’s even ok to spray buds if you’ve got a few weeks to let it disappate. Works like a charm; 2-3 applications.

I've tried hypoaspis mites the problem is they live in the soil and the thrips are on the plant doing the damage, I used a smoke bombs to get rid of them, 3 days another one then another again 3 days later, 3 in total to make sure that I'd get eggs, larvae and adults...it worked!

We have a place you can buy them fresh. They breed them all in house. Legit company they sell to greenhouses etc. The prob is it takes time for them to hatch out and if there's a huge thrip problem it's difficult for them to handle it. I used cucumeris I ended up spraying. alot of the time what happens is a few adults will realize they're getting eaten and form wings and fly into another tent or area. They are little bastards. When you fog. It kills everything everywhere. Yes it's less desirable to spray shit but it is a very cheap very quick and fairly safe way to get rid of thrips. You can also just fog your tent turn off lights and zip up let it sit for an hour or two then turn it on again. If you're desperate it's the best way imo. I'd never fog with buds tho.

Safers soap,Remove all leaves that show signs then soak whats left.Between runs when clones or seedlings are small dunk plants in the soap.Manually rub fingers down ea leaf and stem will kill a lot too.

Hey did you keep them alive for long? I was looking at storage info and it says you should use em as soon as you receive them. I thought to myself what a waste

Hey bud, I used them the day i collected them from the shop, tbh they didn't have much impact.

In your thread yesterday I didn't mention it I didn't want to dishearten you, the smoke bombs I used were highly effective but I'm not sure about using them in flower they're permethrin based?
