That is super weird, so then revegging truly changed its DNA if the plant and its clones are now all growing without pistils. Its just odd because it seems pretty common for people to take clones in flower and it doesnt seem to actually change the plant other than it taking a super cropped shape, But clones taken from that plant then behave the same as the original plant before flowering and reveg.Yes it had pistils before.
Just to be clear, you said you grew the plant, flowered it (had pistils at this point), Harvested, revegged, took clones and gave to friends, those clones as well as this plant then flowered with no pistils?
I always thought actual genetic changes only happened through reproduction. For example When people ask if a clone of a clone of a clone eventually changes traits over time, the answer is usually no, it can remain identical for many years because the DNA is always the same.
