Hi all just a general question. I have a plant indoors in tent under 2 mars ts1000 lights. I took a cut of her in veg and put it ouside, now shes in flower due to uk season changing and ive noticed tge outdoor one is growing slowly( compared to tent) but is civered in trichomes, for instance the fan leaves are covered, where as the indoor is only on the buds themselves. Both plants are in the same soil and same nutes.

You can't beat the sun as a light source but outdoors comes with its own set of issues such as bugs, rabbits/deers, unfavorable weather conditions and limited growing season (for most areas).

Other threats are poachers, bitchy neighbours and/or cops (if not legal in your region).

Indoor allows you to control or mitigate these mentioned issues but you are limited by the quality of your grow room/lights/air circulation, etc....

Im ok for neighbours etc, plant is in a green house so no animals to eat it and so far pest free

Can you place an artificial light over the plant in the greenhouse to extend dawn/dusk?
No, too far into flower now anyway. Was more wondering why the outdoor plant has much more trichome production, but as someone mentioned earlier its tge suns uv thats better for trich production
