20+60 ebb/drip plant operation...second go...white berry + outdoor sativa strain

yeagh im super pumped or this...i found the other strain i was dealing with was very tall lanky and stretchy so im pumped to see the form of this plant...the look and everything of an indica is crazy...leaves are 4 times the size already and overall looks like a stranger and healthier breed.

looks good..you could expain that doubletime in a heart beat.... dod you take any cuts from those plants befor you went into flower.?

i have 2 moms that were also 2 clones from the same bacth of the lanky strain but i killed em off last night, i dont want to do em again, there also taking up room and the white berry is coming so i wanna fill the other part of the room with alll white berry, plus my buddy has the lanky strain going and he has a few moms still kikkin around...so incase somthing happens to the berry hes got me covered...ill be taking pics when the lights go on today, there all growing amazing, i also went to the high times here and replaced the bulbs, got home and the one bulb doesnt work, and i know its not my ballast cause other old bulbs work in it...so i guess im off downtown to have it out with the guy...he he he

so i got my camera up and running to take a few pictures of the progress its been 4 days since last pics, i accidentally had the mh too close to the whiteberries so a few leaves are nipped a bit.....the rest are all growing at about an inch a day at least, some bud formation is showing already.....for the flood and flow im using the complete line of fox farm bnutrients..including the soluables....and for the drip im using the complete flora set of nutrients........theres a few pics of what im using just for the hell of it....plus it looks cool...he he he.......theres also a pic of the mother spot as well thats ghetto for now until this weekend when i section everything for good....adding exhaust and carbon filter too....and now im caught fighting over what lights and how mkany to use for the other part of the room that is 6/8 feet....any suggestions.....i also have the problem that the doors not big enought to bring many flood and flow tables in either so im in a predicament...he he he...damnit....well enjoy the pics and please leave some feedback.....lets get a good thread going here i appreciate all the help!!!

Your flowering ladies will stop the upward shoot they have been on and start putting on bud weight. They are 1-2 weeks in to flower now?

yeagh but here has been light leeks in the room during 12 off not like crazy but dim light and im fixing tht this weekend b ut hope it doesnt effect it that much

As long as there is not a lot of hermie in the genetics they should be ok with very little light during "dark" times.

last run with this same sativa strain i actually managed to stress some out so they were hermies, but this is in the last room and different location and these clones were from a friends mother...started everything new cause of the pollen, if its not completely dark outside at night than why is it so important inside...?

I'm not sure. I know fem seeds have a lot higher hermie rate because of the genetics used in the feminizing process. Great question.

well today im doing the black and white.....got my6 buddy helping cause its gonna be hell...this is my least favorite part of the whole thing...i hate that its so long and how its folded all weird....ill update with pics tonight..

we got the mom and clone room done, had some trouble wiring from the box so i have to wait for that...and yes a pain in the ass...staples ripping the plastic everywhere and light spaces...im gonna have to finish it with duct tape tomorrow..he he he...duct tape thank god....the other room ill do when the white berrie is almost ready....im getting 2 1000w ballasts and shades this weekend i scored a good deal 100 bucks a piece....so that will be used with the berry when its ready and after this batch of the sativa strain is done the whole room will be white berry for now and ill have 3 1000w hps covering the 12/6 area.....this should be more than enough light.....am i right...i believe i did the calculating right......the white berry has this stench to it when you ruffle the leaves or smell right close....very strong already.....i cant wait...tomorrow im going to post a few pics of the progress from today and tomorrow...but now im off to smoke the amazing oil i just made.....happy toking!!!

Let's see. 12ft x 6ft = 72 sq ft. 50W per sq ft is recommended. 3600W would be the number so you are close $100 for the 1000's is a good deal. Nice find
Once you get the details worked out you can reduce the footprint of the space a little with more black and white to better contain the light but that is a story for another day. Have a good one, man. You earned it.

i think im on the right path...he he he....well i think ill be ok with 3 1000's...each thousand watt will be shining over a 2 3/2 ebb and flow setups....im hoping to get like 13 on each table in the small baskets....and im going to basically be doing sea of green and slammin the clones into bud at like 10 inches or so.....im hoping from this method i can achieve an ounce dry a plant....my hopes might just be dreams tho....he he he what do you think...it is an indica tho...supposed to be very high yeilder....camera is out of batteries but i spent all night adjusting everything and taping the shit out of the black and white....pitch black now...except for like a few stapleholes i missed ....but its not really lighting up at all.....i trimmed alot of the bottom leaves and small stems off tonigth as well to allow better air flow and i trimmed quitea biut of fan leaves off so the light can penetrate deeper...the buds are actually growing alot fater than when i grew the same strain in soil...and the ebb and flows root system are like 50 times larger and more complex than the drip system...and i will be able to rest when all the wiring is done...makes me nervous lol...i also worry about leaks cause i have had a couple....thanks..but its s mess right now....gonna need to work on it all weekend to get it just right...happy the mom room is done and i cant friggin wait to start cloning the berry!!!....excuse my writing if theres mitakes im too tired to read over lol....happy tokin and ill be back with pics tomorrow

sorry guys ive been crazy busy with work out of town alot and stuff....im going to take some pics tomorrow...actually later today and update...im glad it will be enough light...now how many plants do you think i can get under those lights with the room size if im going to do them in whole bunch of home made flood and flows...im hoping and this is hoping...that ill be able to get like 80...if i do them straight from clone and slam them....and the strain isnt a tall strain as its described...only 7-8 weeks of flower as well...let me know what you think i was thinking like 13 for each 2/3 table in small baskets or maybe just filled with with hydrotin without baskets and have 2 tables nder each light...so like 26 from clone under each 1000w...am i crazy or will i be ok?...let me know....thanks guys!!!
