Nope!!! Never!!!! You are correct, it is an added step that winds up causing the damage To the flower that we were trying to avoid in the first place by “dry trimming” and not wet trimming...... obviously on a lesser level but still noticeable in A side by side for sure.anyone do it? Just seems like an unnecessary added step. And damage to the flower twice as much. Co worker of mine does it. Wondering if it’s a normal thing?
Personally I just clip all the fan leaves off then flip to dry. Usually about 10 days. Never done it different

I do the same as him, maybe. Chop plant into buds, trim, wash, place on trays then into my freeze dryer for 24hrs(or so), place in paper bag for 4+hrs after being freeze dried to regain some moisture and jar.really a dryer
