Hey riu growers! I have some sus young people hanging around out front my house lately. The smell is outrageous and maybe its just paranoia will destroya but I need to know how early I am or if Im close enough, I simply cant wake up to stolen ladies (I only have 2 plants lol). Also, these purple leaves developing are crazy, same plant had pink pistils so don’t know whats up with that. Im a complete newb and have had some amazing help on here that I am truly grateful for. Mystery bag seed train and finished with nutes a few weeks back. I SO genuinely appreciate your assessment!!

They are close enough that if you feel rippers might get them then I'd pull them. Your not that far off from prime harvest time. GL

Oh Hi!!! Thanks I appreciate your assessment (and all of your input from my past concerns!) I saw a drone the other day and I think that got me seriously paranoid Lol. I have learned recently there are other growers in my neighborhood so I am really thinking I may need to count my losses. But I like LockedIn’s idea so maybe Ill just do that.

Okay I am embarrassed to say I have 2 dogs but they would seriously just want to play with anyone who comes around, totally useless guard dogs lol and the one is actually part pitbull so ya lol.
okay I am going to try your recommendation. Shall I just dry the normal hanging way or do the makeshift oven type thing (I know its a faux pas right lol) thx sm you are the supershit

I put a lot of weight on @twentyeight.threefive 's advice. Never been steered wrong (I read A LOT here).

Have you met them?
Most of us know each other out here, and it was eye opening to find out I'm on the upper side of quality, and not far off in quantity! (Thanks RIU!)
I also found out that I'm easily the most stealth of all of us - some have plant tops sticking a couple feet over a front yard fence, another has Freakshow in his front yard........

Might ease your mind if you can "talk shop" with somebody local. :bigjoint:

I'd hang 'em in a paper bag and in a closet - dark & dry.
Smokeable in a couple days out here. Not as good as it will be after curing - but you'll know for sure if they need more time.

Dogs - that might be true. But the punk kid lookin' at your plants doesn't need to know that! :bigjoint:

Throw up some motion sensor lights.


I had the same problem, big gnarly looking pitbull that rarely barked and loved everybody. I got a chihuahua to go with it now and actually let me knows when people are around while the pit just seems scary from a distance

Yes I have tried to angle my motion sensor light in a better position near the plants but it still not quite enough. I found some portable led lights at Canadian tire that I am going to put onto my fence. Aw yes pitties are the best dogs for lovable companionship thats for sure but yes chihuahuas are def good for the barking Lol
