Thanks waterproof! Totally agree. I got a biology lesson which is awesome for knowledge and blah blah…we all want a lot of good trees in the end.

how did you end up fixing your issue?

I got a very generous sample box of NTFG from my local grow shop once, did like two feeds with it and now it just collects dust in my shed outdoor. It was just way too many different bottles of stuff for my taste and I dont like having to consult a feed chart every time to figure out what bottles to use.

Lol. Good question. I figured if I ran the advanced (middle line) followed the chart and drench/flood/waste nutes, totally soaking the coco at 6.4ph at ~800ppm like totally “flood” the substrate w that…took me 6hrs one Friday night. Then I knew to keep the feeding frequent…when I could. I did bump the gg and mm up slightly (maybe extra tsp) since that was also slight N boost as well. Then fed w keeping ppm in range of 700-1100 depending. I noticed things go awry quick if you don’t feed often/enough.

Needless to say, next run I’m good w collecting bottles.

Man you where killing your self. If you want to try again I will help you through E mail . Its not that hard and if you give it time you wont regret it. You can put 10 12 cups 2500 +ppms phed high and let your plant eat for 48 hours . Its not a transdermal salt . I think its better for someone to have never grown at all and learn NFTG than it is to come to the line having ran salts. Seen this 1000 times. I undersand your fears been there too If you can get over it you will have the best shit in your woods and eventually alot of it at top demand. Not to mention if your an extractor this is the line for you.

I forget DD is a must also in coco , all you need is those 5 and Slf 100 nothing else is needed unlike the NFTG crew seems to think. I dont have the Boner of Scoot O that the rest of the crew has he is the main reason coco guys fail with his line. Scott was takeing way to much advice form people that have no clue what they are talking about. Super great and nice guy but had me starving my plants for the first two years until I finally got the hang of it myself. I think his growing advice has hurt the line more than helped it. I have used the line more than long enough to know how much people need under acceptable flower growing Par in soil and coco and its a ton more that Scott wants people to know untill after they use the line. I think he understands to that people want instgram pics of perfect plants with huge airy buds these days than pictures of tight encrusted candy tasting kick in your teeth fire because the plant got a little stressed and kicked oils into overdrive .

Really late to this I know.......However, your thoughts on NFTG hit home. I started using it about 6 years ago. Grew autos with it. I just got so tired of all the bottles (I used everything as directed every feeding) for seemingly marginal results.
I'm thinking about starting up with it again in Promix HP. My plan is to use just the main 4 and SLF and see how it goes. I just never got good bud density and I think that it was just too many nutrients, and I would end up with burned leaves/buds occasionally.
