Please help! What is this?

I’ve been running into the same problem and I can’t figure it out. When I switch to flower (and sometimes before) my plants get a problem which kills them within days. The one bigger one survived but I’m sure the quality was affected. I’m using fox farm main 3. Primary issue happens when they begin to flower as they shrivel and die very quickly.

You basically overnuted the shit out of that minuscule
amount of soil in that solo cup. There is absolutely no way it could handle you throwing all of the fox farm trio at it.

I think that maybe the clovers printed on the cup. But still you confirmed one of my suspicions. I think the soil I’m using for the first time might be gassed up so any added nutes kills it. I’m sorta used to using damn near inert stuff from a vacant lot. Thanks folks.

Why would you flip to flower in such a small pot? People use clear pots, but I think they’re more prone to algae growth. Get decent pots or fabric bags to grow in. 3 gallon is small but it might work on small plants, 5 or 10 are better choices. I like a bit bigger because you put fluids on less.
Don’t overwater. Put fluids on to saturation, then add more to get some runoff, then go away until the pot gets light.
What do you mean when you say your soil is gassed up? Is it bought soilless mix or stuff from a vacant lot?

Nah, its algae, clear cup lets light in, bad for the roots.
