Roots organic terp tea for edible herbs?

So I've been tryna figure out a fertilizing routine that works for me I like using dry organic fertilizer. .

Ferts I have in mind and on hand ..
Roots organics terp tea 7-1-1
Dr.earth 3-4-6
Jobes 3-4-4
Fish fert. At 5-1-1 & 2-2-2

roots organics dry terp tea 7-1-1 .. can I use this instead for the herbs only .. with the 5-1-1 every two weeks?
So basically I'd like to use

For herbs : 1×month roots organics dry fertilizer 7-1-1 and
every two weeks fish fertilizer 5-1-1

Vegetables: at time of planting 4-4-4 and top dress with 3-4-6 monthly
And 2-2-2 fish fertilizer every 2 weeks .

Would this fertilizer routine work just fine ?

I used something very similar to this on my outdoor cannabis last year before I started down the KNF road. If this is for an edible herb garden you might be overcomplicating it. They should do fine with just a rich soil and some water. Maybe the occasional Terp Tea or fish hydrolysate
What do you plan to use for soil? Prebagged our your own mix?
I ask because the last pallet of Roots Original I bought came from a plant that had some issues with their screen. Likely big effin holes that went unnoticed. I found everything from golf ball size rocks to plastic in just about every bag.
This year I opted for a few different mixes from Coast of Maine. It seems to be a much richer blend and my sage and basil exploded in it.

Not to derail the thread but this came from a single 1.5cu bag of Roots Original. I'm pretty sure this came from the NY plant. I emailed them and sent these pics so hopefully they've upped their quality control measures. I dont like to dig on companies but people should be aware so this is my half assed review of Roots. :bigjoint:

That's completely unacceptable. There's nothing organic about that trash in that pile and the wood doesn't even look composted at all. I'd be interested to know where they're getting the compost they use from. Looks like it could be coming from a municipal source made from yard debris with all the trash rocks and sticks in it. People throw all kinds of junk in the bin they pick up including dog feces and cat litter box waste. One reason I don't buy compost but make my own. There is absolutely no excuse for all that garbage in one bag of soil.

Thats exactly what it is - municipal sourced yard waste. I dont know if you can see it in that pic, but there's a couple of 10 penny spikes and a few roofing nails. I had to rescreen all of it just to add it to an old unused garden plot. Expensive lesson.

That sucks. I'm guilty of putting crap in the yard waste bin they pick up. That's why I know it's no good. If I'm doing it so is everyone else. It's where the majority of dog poop ends up I know that. But my Chihuahuas don't make that much of a mess. I have a friend with a couple Corso's and that's where their crap goes. Lots of it because they're really big dogs. In fact everyone I know with dogs dumps it in those bins. But other than some Chihuahua poo everything else is just tree trimmings. The good stuff goes in my compost pile.

Hopefully you'll hear back from them and they'll offer you some kind of compensation.

This was from a delivery I'd had last year. They didnt offer a refund (just said "woops") and I wouldnt have accepted another pallet even if offered.
At the end of the day, they lost some business.

And I hold no hard feeling against the company, but I do hope they've upped the quality control measures.

Most soil companies just buy the materials and mix them. They don't typically have their own composting facilities. There may be a sourcing issue and are using what's available. But that's definitely not good for business. Plastic trash is not organic.

They definitely need to do more QC.

Alright got it , I mix my own soil alot cheaper .. but yeah I'll keep tht in mind , use a potting mix with good rich compost and the occasional fish fert or terp tea ..

also I made my post cause I'm pretty new to this self taught and I'm just tryna come up with fertilizer routine and basic potting mix recipe/ratio basically just have a basic,simple outline/guide tht I can build on ..

So thanks for you input !

cheaper .. but yeah I'll keep tht in mind , use a potting mix with good rich compost and the occasional fish fert or terp tea ..
