I just had 6 from 6 og kush from MSNL go hermie and seed my entire grow of 22 plants.
Personally I would chuck em in the bin but if ya do grow em be very careful of low bananas!!
I'll never use the cunts again!!!

According to "reality" TV, it's also possible to build a house without any issues, no tradie problems, no pandemic & have the judges high-fiving each other with magnificent 10/10 scores for "styling" in the space of 8 months. All in the space of an hour (give or take Ad. breaks).

Unfortunately, reality is a different matter...........:rolleyes:

I dont watch TV. But I do grow weed and if you are using males its a walk in the park to make seeds. Some people even make them accidentally ;)

Yeah, I've made hundreds of seeds over the past 4 years, none of them by accident. Both reg's & fem's.

My dilemma is to get the limited ones I want to keep in perpetuity to germinate so I can create an endless supply before I lose the line.

This is my current challenge.

I have a shitload of different seeds/strains available to me, but there are a limited number of seeds of strains that I want to keep going.

Pop beans, clone them, make seeds from the clones with STS, keep the strain.

The ones I want to keep just don't seem to want to play the game right now & feel I'm destined to lose them.

Gotcha. If you want to preserve a line, F2 it. Then worry about S1s later when you have the entire genetic ancestory captured in the F2s? (No help if you only have fems I guess) Good luck though chucking is fun!

OK, you've obviously exposed a gaping hole in my knowledge here. No problems, I'm happy to learn. Keep the lessons coming, please!

F1's & S2's? You lost me.

Most of what I want to preserve are already fem's, hence the cloning/STS idea. Is that actually a problem?

I do have a stash of home-made reg. seeds that I made (not by accident) a couple of years ago, just don't know how to work them.

Yeah if you dont have a male you cant line breed ie breed brothers and sisters of an F1 generation to create F2s. If you take 2 separate lines and cross them you have an F1. If you take those progeny and breed them you get F2 and so on.

S1 etc is selfing where you dont have a male. Its inbreeding as well but with only have the gene pool of the parent.

What you can do if you dont have a male and are having issues with reversing the female cutting is outcross the female to a male of a different line to create an F1 then take a male from their progeny and cross it back to the original female so you have a BX1.
