Would moist vermiculite work well for rooting cuttings/clones? I’m trying to avoid aeroponics for sake of simplicity.
for the light it’s a small viparspectra p600 95w led. Figured it would work well for clones.
I would build a medium pyramid shaped box with the light at the top, and trays with little cups for the vermiculite at the bottom. Vermiculite holds plenty of water and I heard you can germinate in it. I’ll use it for clones mainly though.
looking to shoot for a size where I could root 10-20 clones.
I would likely add rooting hormone and some kind of cloning gel to the vermiculite.
once I make the box I’ll post pics and hopefully it will work. It will be made out of wood because that’s all I know how to work with. I might get lazy and just make it a square box.
