Soil and water grow round 2

I have been using 2.5 gallon pots for about 5 years. But the UV light has made them crack up so they are on the last flower. Switched to a 3.5 gallon pail, same diameter as a 5 gallon but shorter. Using FF soil. But the 2.5 gal flower pots run dry and need water twice a day or what I do now is let the saucer fill and they suck it dry. Normally don't do that.

I've found starting directly in a 3.5 gallon container does make it really hard to control the moisture as it takes so long to get rid of excess and in the mean time the seedling dries out it's root zone. I usually start the seedling in a small peat starter pot.

So my plan for the next grow is a smaller 2 gallon for veg and then repot it to the 3.5 gallon with some fresh soil to fill when going to flower. The last flower was in the 3.5 gal pots and I didn't have a drying out issue. But that was spring time.

Thanks for the tips!

Wow, havnt heard anyone mention the rev in a long time. Back when I was beginning, I had an issue of skunk magazine (I think) that was dedicated to 100% rev's articles about tlo and it was super super helpful.
I've got the 2nd Addition TLO... Great Book... The Rev sells great seeds with great genetics....

Looks like growth has stalled out.

How low can over night Temps be compared to day time temps?
Daytime is about 80-82 max.
Daytime average is likely 79/80

Night time is 60s in the tent.

I'm pretty sure at least one of the adrenaline Dragons is male.
The second is likely male as well. But It needs a few more days under 12/12 to really see.

Popped 2 more of the same seeds today. And popped 2 Grape Pupil from MMS.
Really hoping the second adrenaline dragon is a female. Was looking forward to the smoke!

Female!!!
Wohooo.
Had some temperature issues before she really took off. But she is in flowering now. About 2 weeks into flower. Many more to go.

I did have a male that was starting to stretch pretty well. But had to cull it because I don't want seeds. He was strong though. Very healthy.

Finally understand temperature ranges for these plants. So hopefully I get OK yield off this one. Next grow will be much better. Always improving. And always organic. 20220214_123341.jpg20220214_123345.jpg20220214_123349.jpg20220214_123355.jpg20220214_123341.jpg20220214_123345.jpg20220214_123349.jpg20220214_123355.jpg

She's coming along niceeee.
Glad I didn't chop yet.
Will wait 2 more weeks and see how she goes.20220404_172941.jpg20220404_172948.jpg20220404_172951.jpg20220404_172958.jpg
I popped a Grape Pupil seed during sex checking. It's much further behind
But now I have a hilariously small plant.

Might get a smoke session or 2 out of it once she's done. Has at least 4-6 weeks to go.

Cut off the big fan leaves last night on the Adrenaline dragon.
They were essentially completely used up.
Only 2 or 3 are left up top.

Another watering today. And will continue to check trichs once or twice a week.

Looking good!! I had serious watering issues when I started, hell I still do  I switched over to sips, and it has made an incredible difference. Check them out if you get some time. They're cheap, simple, and you probably have stuff to make them yourself. Happy Growing! :bigjoint:

Thanks!!!
It took me the better part of a year to figure out watering. I may try sips one of these days.
