I have clones of skywalker og under a mars ts3000 set at 50% set at about 24 inches. the clones are over a month old and all the new growth is yellowing and turning brown and crispy on the tips. The one thing I did different when transplanting into promix is that I drenched the promix with 5 gallons of water mixed with neem oil to try and fight off an infestation of fungus gnats I've been battling. They were also given a light feeding of liquid karma and sense cal mag when transplanted, which I normally do. The infestation started while I was in coco and was treated using gnatrol and mammoths canncontrol. They both seemed to help but there are still some gnats present. Are these symptoms a result of gnats or some nutrient deficiency? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

For me, the best remedy for fungus gnats has been sprinkling mosquito bits on the soil when water/feed . The BT in the mosquito bits kills the larvae, which damage the roots.
Even when i've had gnat issues, my plants continued to grow more than what I see with yours, if yours are 1 month already.
Can you tell us more about your feed/water sched, ph, ppm/ec, temps, and RH?

Turn the lights way down. Neem oil wasn't a great idea for clones. I'd probably give them a little plain water around just the clones.
so i just adjusted the lights to around 15-20%. I have let them dry out some to help with the gnats but they are due for some watering, so just plain ph'd water? Thanks for your time.

Ya, plain water. I think the main issue was too much light though. Clones don't like much light.
So they have only been fed once with liquid karma and sense cal mag. The clones were originally transplanted into styrofoam cups which is when I added the neem oil to the medium, this was a month ago. About a week ago I transplanted into two gallon containers and added some mykos pure mycorrhizal inoculant to the roots. The temp is about 75-80 and rh is 55-60%. ph is adjusted to 6.3 and when I did feed it once, it was in the 500ppm range, which my plain tap water is around 350 ppm. Thanks for your time.
I'm not giving up on them as it is a great pheno I have been running for over a year. I will water with plain water when the lights come back on. I will update as they progress. Thanks again.
I am still learning led's. This is only my third cycle using led's. I can see how it may have been too much light.

Ya, these things are powerful. And definitely don't give up until they look like complete shit. I've had a few clones that didn't show any new growth for 2-3 months. I thought there was no chance for them but they amazed me and pulled through.
I've got a strain I've kept for 3+ years. I've been making sure I have a decent clone before I put my older plants in flower. I don't want to lose the strain, but I'm kinda ready to take a break.

I concur with previous post on neem. Cold pressed raw neem oil is a fertilizer in the range of 4-6, "number" for N+.Might consider adding gnatrol again. Gnats are like treating mites, treat every 3-4 days till gone (10-20 days). Dont need a flooding to treat everytime. I have liquid concentrated drops (microb-lif) i use 9 drops per 5 gallons to 50 gallons; ie 18 gtts per gallons water. Its a little stronger than their reccomended dose for ponds but it will get rid of them.
If trying neem as a repellent or IGR look into neem cake. If you do use it wear gloves! That shit will go systemic in you and make you smell like a bum. Trust me I know that one.

Well shit. I must smell like ass to everyone else. I just top dressed with neem meal a couple days ago, lol.
It's good shit even though it smells like shit. I'm about to go water and my room is gonna smell pretty again, lol.
I was not aware of neem oil being that high in N+, that would explain why I thought I was seeing a N+ deficiency. That along with the high leds explains the problem more than the gnats although they are a problem and have to go. Thanks for your time and help.

Lol. Its a funny thing it smells so bad but is sooo good. Heres another one...An overnight soak of the neem cake in water makes an excellent PM treatment spray. Add some sm90 or bronner's and will kick PMs ass. Oh and that smell is like a restaurant alley dumpster on a hot day lol!

Lol. Ya it's a delicious smell. Karanja meal has similar properties, but it doesn't smell that bad, and it doesn't have the high N. So in veg neem meal is better and in flower karanja is better.

Karnja! I haven't seen that but once 9 years ago. The organic shop closed and I couldn't remember the name. I liked it better than neem. Its just as effective but not smelly. Worked great to repel the late season outdoors moths and control the caterpillars better than BT.
