Are yall dumb or slow. Photosynthesis stops every time the lights go out. Light, PHOTONS, is one of the key ingredients the plant needs to make food. Cellular respiration,metabolic process, EATING THE FOOD the plant created happens during the dark period.
No light no Photosynthesis.

I don't know anything about extended dark periods to fix revegging issues, but I do understand that the "photo" in photosynthesis suggests the presence of light.
