Guy, I could use some input on an idea I'm considering. I've got one seed of 3BOG that I want to plant and both get seeds from AS WELL AS harvest a good amount of unseeded bud from.
I'm thinking I'll STS a branch a few weeks into growing it, then once the branch starts developing male flowers cut it off before they ripen and burst and transplant the branch in a different pot of soil or glass of water outside my main tent. The idea is to collect the pollen seperately and pollinate a specific section of the source plant, like just one of the side branches or the bottom larf of the plant, leaving an easily distinguishable gist of the plant sinsemilla.
Any of you with experience doing this kind of experimental stuff to autos (especially Mephisto's), do you think this will work or will that branch (or even the source plant itself) die from the shock or get too stunted to be useful? Any other problems to anticipate with these procedures?
