Trying to get 1lb per plant, is 1 plant per 1000w over kill? When it it comes to energy consumption, The plant wont be able to take 100% of that light energy I wouldnt think, unless I got the plant more bud sites during veg.

You can get a pound with a 600 watt HPS so yes it's a achievable. I would think that doing more smaller plants 3-4 per light would require less veg time and yield as much or more. Unless you have a plant limit I would grow more smaller plants not just 1 per light.

Yes, thats how I normally would do it, but need to turn 10 pounds so, I

I normally would have 4 to 5 plants under a 1000w and a month veg time, 2 month flower.

15 plants under 15 cmh 315w would make more sense.

If you only need 10 lbs. why 15 1000w?
Why not just 4 or 5? Save ya space and money. A lot
