Hey guys,
first time grower here. starting out with two plants. they just sprouted out of the soil about a week ago. still super tiny. I bought 'advanced nutrients' and was wondering when the best time to start adding these would be. thanks

Start adding week 2.

Many new growers make the mistake of giving too much early on so remember it's always better to give a little less than a little more.

Which nutes did you get as that makes a difference how you feed them when you do start using them.

When I used ProMix Veg & Herb, that has built in slow release organic nutes, to grow small plants I'd leave them in their smaller pots until I'd get some yellowing starting on the lower leaves then either feed them 1/4 dose of nutes or just up-pot them to a bigger pot with more of the same soil and just RO water. Then they'd grow great for another 3 weeks before looking like they needed food. Like a 3" square pot to a 1L then 2L then a gal then finally into their forever pot about 4gal a couple weeks before flowering.

So I would wait until you can see that they are growing slower and some yellow just starts happening on the older fan leaves before feeding. Moving to a bigger pot then don't feed right away either. You should be able to go until you want to flip to flower before having to use the bottled stuff. I've been using mainly AN nutes for 20 years now so have had some practise with it. More semi-organic now but still use AN and other stuff for supplements to my ProMix HP based medium.

Start low like 1/4 of the max dose for your first feed to see how they handle it. Every 2nd watering should be enough with food.

Good luck!
