Slurry test right?Take a cup of soil and add enough distilled water to make it runny, let sit then stick your normal ph pen in.As long as its soupy it works.Clean your probe after.

You're talking about a slurry test. That's not what he was talking about. He was saying he sticks his pen in the soil like a soil probe.Take a cup of soil and add enough distilled water to make it runny, let sit then stick your normal ph pen in.As long as its soupy it works.Clean your probe after.
Yup,most use paper test strips, litmus paper. But a normal probe works too.Slurry test right?
He said wet soil ,so how wet? You're talking about a slurry test. That's not what he was talking about. He was saying he sticks his pen in the soil like a soil probe.
Good point. He said wet soil ,so how wet?
The cheap vivosun ph meter I originally bought, isn't accurate anyways. LolID try it but my pen is dead since switching.
Moist-WetHe said wet soil ,so how wet?
If it's looks like this it's useless. Well I've heard it's OK for the moisture meter.
I put one of these in my cart to get free shipping and save couple bucks once. Thing was a joke. It just sits in the pile of other useless shit I bought to grow that I thought I needed but didn’t..

Give it a try if you have a pen,Ive just bin using drops.Have to filter it first though to see color.Moist-Wet
He's not talking about a slurry test.
This is what he said:
"yes to the storage solution and yes to the 'water ph probe' in soil. probably the same probe, just on the end of a stick. i think anyways, to the 'water ph pen' see below..
this style of ph pen works fine, sticking in moist-wet soil for me "
I've done slurry tests before. The BlueLab soil probe is way easier and more accurate though.Give it a try if you have a pen,Ive just bin using drops.Have to filter it first though to see color.
I don't trust soil meters. Soil test is the only for sure way in my opinion.I've done slurry tests before. The BlueLab soil probe is way easier and more accurate though.
When you say soil test are you meaning slurry test?I don't trust soil meters. Soil test is the only for sure way in my opinion.
Not interested in listening to you. I listen to people like Premier, and others that do this for a living. Not interested in reading your cut and paste. See attached that you cut and pasted from a lawn forum, where people even pointed out that the orginal post contained incorrect information lol
Stick a clone in your dirt is the best pH meter lol.I don't trust soil meters. Soil test is the only for sure way in my opinion.
Not to mention ripping off quotes from homeowner's on a lawn forum. Seriously? Not interested in listening to you. I listen to people like Premier, and others that do this for a living.
Just fyi, my business applies lime....that IS what I do for a living. Just had to intervene after seeing your nonsense you were postingNot interested in listening to you. I listen to people like Premier, and others that do this for a living.
No, I mean send it out. I'm sure that's probably all they do too, but I believe Jeremy says their slurry test is a lil different if I remember correctly. When you say soil test are you meaning slurry test?
