I am new to growing. And I’m the kind that will research and learn as much as possible and sometimes will take advice and information way beyond it is given. So with that said, what do they mean when they refer to cannabis prefer to temperatures of 65F to 80F. Do they mean the surrounding air...

What are those, about a gallon? What's your final target size, 3 gallon or 5 gallon? Either would be good for a basic indoor grow. I'd pot them up to whatever your end size will be. I use 5 but plenty of people don't go any bigger than 3.
