Not to mention that we are talking two completely different powders with radically different burn rates. Rifle powder is typically a slower burn than a pistol powder (obviously) and to try and make this comparison is apples and kumquats.

Do you think gun handling training would have stopped this tragedy? I posted in another thread that all gun owners in Canada must take a gun safety course and the reply was “why don’t I just cut my balls off”. I guess gun safety training is a veiled attempt to take freedom away

The assistant director that called the gun "cold" obviously had no clue how to check a gun. The armorer should have been the only one to make that determination, and should have been on the set at the time. My biggest question is why were there live rounds on a movie set?

This incident and then the Astroworld deaths. It’s all about money and lack of safety. Baldwin was cheap and didn’t want to hire for safety and Travis didn’t want safety either, he bragged about it. That’s a large .454 dia hole which you can easily see down. You can even hear the projectile tap the inside of the cylinder especially with a .45 LC. This idiot Baldwin has no idea what he was doing. Why was he even pulling back the hammer? I mean a functional pistol that was used for target practice with live rounds should never even been pointed at others. I wonder if he for some reason wanted her dead. Just doesn’t add up

I’m saying the cylinder for a gun like that has huge holes that you can clearly see a bullet in. Also the cylinder has a gap where you can see brass where the round is. The heavy lead projectile rattles inside the cylinder and makes noise when you handle it. See this pic gives a perfect example
Yeah, I've got a couple .45 SA's & even a 45-70 revolver, if you know what you're looking for it's really easy to see they're loaded or not. But none of mine really make any noise when shaking them side to side - the cart's do have a bit of linear movement but other than that it is a nice snug fit.
