Thankfully, the 2A is about to be bolstered. I don't trust the state to protect me. Last year, I was under the impression some of society wanted to roll back police power. Now, some of the same people are licking boots. Why did the police allow 20+ people to be killed in last year's riots? We don't trust the state. They are inept, dangerous, and inherently racist. Yet we also want to limit our natural right to bear arms as a means of self-defense and a check against the government. An outside observer could only laugh at the contradictions. Self-defense is a basic human right.the thing I'm most concerned about is the fact that we are seemingly okaying a teenager's right to take an AR-15 into an area where there's civil unrest, that's really scary and concerning. But this is where we are with gun laws. This is why we have to have safer gun laws in place, to protect ourselves, to protect each other. It wasn't a shocking verdict. But one that poses a great risk going forward if we continue to go down this path of opеn carry and statеs determining that people can just carry- even underage people and weapons of war -- this is America. We're treading down a dangerous path
must be killer kyle's kousin...another fucking little piece of shit that got off scot free
I have to agree. And until those laws are in effect and actually working, ill stay armed. I mean we had 11 mass shooting over Halloween weekend. I dont know what those law need to be or how they should work. But this is America and guns are part of our entire government structure. Nvm that disarming the population is possibly a national security issue. I mean whos going to invade a population that has this many guns?the thing I'm most concerned about is the fact that we are seemingly okaying a teenager's right to take an AR-15 into an area where there's civil unrest, that's really scary and concerning. You'd expect his lawyer to say exactly what was underlined in your photo. The argument can be made that sexual assaults are not punished appropriately in the United States. This is across all lines and not a white or black issue. In general, you expect affluent individuals to get a more favorable outcome because they can afford better council. How do you address this problem? The most important part, which you failed to mention, was the individual was a minor at the time, which played a role in the lax sentencing. However, his youthful offender status has since been revoked and he is facing a potential eight years in prison.
This is an interesting observation. Earlier in the thread, someone suggested you can accurately ID immoral individuals by labeling them and observing their reactions. If there is a negative response, surely it means they are guilty. Maybe there is something to this type of thinking. A subconscious attunement with violent sexual offenders. Defending yourself against one of them is akin to attacking their brother. I must admit, it's more sensible than attempting to label Mr. Rittenhouse a white supremacist as a way to foster hatred.
Nah just don’t like vigilantes who align themselves with radicals
