ReVeg Question

So I'm looking to re veg a plant I'm just about to finish harvesting, and I need help on where to cut before placing back into the veg environment. The GrowFAQ gives directions on everything, but the sentence explaining where to cut doesn't make any sense to me. Here's a direct quote:

"Cut the main stalk down to the point where below several growth tips or buds are remaining."

Does this mean cut it so its just the main stalk sticking out of the soil, so there's no branches left at all? "Where below several growth tips or buds are remaining", what the fuck does that mean? Should I leave a few branches on her? Any clarification would be great.

Yeah, that's right, leave a couple with decent foliage near the bottom. You have to leave something to feed the roots and generate new shoots, it works, I've done it.

i once took a plant 2 wks from complete back to 24 hrs for a week then threw it back to budding...the spaces in the nodes produced new stuff as the other stuff was ripening..i think it increased my yield by about 30%...problem is if u mess up they can get moldy.....i also think in doing the llight thing it kinda gave the bud a trippiness to it...
