The prep act of 2020 was a response to an emergency situation, however, vaccine manufacturers have had immunity from lawsuits for PROPERLY MANUFACTURED vaccines for a long time. They can be sued for an improperly manufactured vaccine, and physicians can be sued for prescribing a vaccine in an inappropriate situation. There are some people who are harmed by properly manufactured vaccines. The government has three separate
programs to help those people. The covid vaccine is already covered by these programs, and there hasn't been one successful claim yet.

I've heard that the Vaers reporting system usually under reports adverse reactions, but even if you take it as is, it doesn't paint a pretty picture.

I'm not a fan of qualified immunity and think it illustrates a kind of master / slave relationship, but in this kind of slavery people get corn syrup and Football on Sunday.

It was needed to cover the phrase "properly manufactured", there is legal ambiguity during an emergency, no way to say if a thing is being properly manufactured when there hasn't been time to set up a procedural guide to it's manufacturing. Anyone hurt by the vaccine has recourse to the same three programs everyone else does.
