5 gallon auto flower

Hi everyone, I have a question. I was wondering if anyone has tried growing an auto flower in a 5-gallon bucket inside a 2'x2'x55" grow tent? I know it might depend on the strain. But I'm trying to get a general answer. I googled the question, but I'm trying to get other opinion.

I was thinking maybe i can prune and tie down the main branches. Or is that too much stress for an auto flower?

Could very well work if you set it up proper I’m sure.. I’m running 4 autos in 3.6gal in a 3x3x6’
Already topped them all; planning on LST

I’d assume you’d have to do some kinda trimming/training for that 55” height

I have grown autos in 20 litre (5.2 US gallon) pots, both outdoors and in a 1.2m x 1.2m x 2.2m tent. I had read that the bigger the pot the better for autos.

For the most part, unless it's a dwarf, plant size is determined by pot size. I've seen some huge autos. A single 5 gallon plant will easily fill that 2x2.

Do n five all the time u will need to be bending over the plants early on unless your light can be hung at very top. But can’t see why not. Would love to be forced into bending stuff over for bigger buds

It is pretty difficult to understand exactly what you're asking. You asked if anyone had grown in that size pot. I have. You didn't ask if anyone would grow in that size pot again - I wouldn't. 10 litres is plenty.

You can tie down and keep it pretty low. These were grown in a DWC, but you can see what low riders they are. No topping, only tie downs.
