I'm a disabled medical patient working on my first indoor grow ever, things are going well. I am growing in super soil (using Mother Earth's Terracraft as my base and natures living soil auto concentrate) As I said I'm disabled and limited to what I can invest so planning to use different teas for future nutes and feeding soil. I have been doing a lot of reading about different teas that would be easy for me to use just looking for some advice here as the folks in this forum have been very helpful. This is my girl at the start of 4 weeks since the seed popped. Think I need to add more perlite when I start the other plants now that I have more confidence in growing indoor. Plant is northern lights auto from growers choice forgot to turn off light before pics

Looking well. Your mix looks good too . I'm also on a fixed income, I've sacrificed so much to purchase equipment and supplies.
Check out the products online with Build a soil.com. Look at the water soluble products they're offering. I'm looking at the 0-10-8 and 10-2-2. With organics there is long term nutrients (minerals, bone meal, greensand etc.), And short term ( chelated, water soluble ie 10-2-2 ,0-10-8). I'm going to use bone meal(4-12-3) and greensand (0-0-3) for long term. I'll pick out one formula for watering monthly.

Thanks for the input! I've been gathering things for a few months just ordered my exhaust fan and filter that is the last of the more expensive Items. Checked out that website definitely a big help

Thanks man trying hard, think I've made a couple mistakes but learning from them is what it's all about. Haha
IMo thats really hard learning curve. You want to find some old threads from 2012-2013 in organic section here on RIU. Ppl were much more helpfull providing specific doses and time when to top dress as well as how to amend your soil. Looks like you have already did some research. Happy growing

This has all been a big learning curve for me  it's been at least 25 yrs. since I've grown and that was out doors. I used to line my holes with banana peels to add potassium by the time they started flowering and it worked well. So the teas make sense just have to figure out what to use and when. When I read about super/living soil and using teas to feed soil and plant the decision on my medium was made. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction found a lot of older threads that are very helpful

I've got a bunch of stuff from BAS. The Craft Blend is good stuff too, and it's on sale right now for 30% off for Black Friday. If you decide to order something from them and if you're a new customer you'll get $5 off through this link. The little 3# one would be like $8. Last time I ordered Craft Blend I bought the bucket. Too bad it wasn't 30% off when I ordered it, lol.

I think top dressing is way easier than teas, but my plants did like it when I gave them some.

Totally true….2021 ppl suck ….ahh how I miss the good old daze…anyway here’s some possibly helpful advice…
What I have found is that while teas are great for maintaining a healthy living soil you probably need a form or fertilizer or 2 to get them to the finish line. Also you should harness the power of mycorrhizae fungi which is often overlooked by noobs. The idea is to put everything they need inside the container before there are plants growing, then you just water them.
When I build my pots for vegging I use amended soil with a small amount of chicken manure in the bottom layer. A little goes a long way; I swirl in about 1/4 cup per container. Chicken manure is kind of “hot” so to buffer the ph I toss in about the same amount of crushed oyster shell. I fill a pot about 1/3 of the way with this and sprinkle on a bit of granular mycorrhizae which helps with absorption and regulation of moisture at the root zone. The root ball is placed on top of this and filled in with soil.
For my bloom phase plants in larger containers I do the same thing but up the dosage of chicken manure to 1/3 cup per pot along w/crushed oyster shell. I also push in a couple Jobes AP organic spikes which feed for about 8 weeks; perfect for flowering. They cost about $8 for a 50 pc bag; very cheap. Made of feather meal, potash, and mycorrhizae.

Here bud, this is the info you're looking for. These are the soil mixes people used for 30 + years before things got complicated with rock dusts and expensive amendments. I wouldn't rely on teas as fertilizers, using one of these mixes might be all you need to finish a grow, then use one of the teas just to give them a boost if needed: https://www.icmag.com/forum/marijuana-growing/organic-soil/48694-organics-for-beginners?t=53792
These"amendments". Liquids O.M.R.I. Certified ( they handle the " GENIUS " - SCIENTIFIC ASPECTS ?) Are an excellent " shot term " nutrients. The bone meal/Greensand are long term nutrient releases. All said, I've noticed you haven't mentioned ANYTHING about decaying plant matter and without it, these organic practices mean SQUAT. Please be careful of the links you shared. I'm still stuck on beginners, LMAO.

In the process of reading up on Jadam and other things now using plant matter makes so much sense and already paid for it so why notput it to use
