Four Fat Females From the Flowering Floor (the basement)

So its harvest week(s) for me and i thought i'd share some pics from today.

My Ghetto ass drying room.

A little trim in the homegrown box.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, every plant from my veg room has been moved into the flowering room, resulting in one crowded ass room. Should be wonderful in a couple months though.

Thats pretty much it for today, all comments, questions, compliments, death threats etc. are welcome.
Thanks roll it up, without these forums i'd be growing fluffy garbage instead of this chunky, frosty, delicious ganja.

Thanks for the props, i can assure you the bud is amazing. Even 4 days off the plant it is already delicious, after a nice long cure, forgetaboutit!!!!

how does hanging your light vertically work for you? how powerful is it, over how many sq. feet? i've heard this method is less efficient for lumens, but very little heat builds up.

thanks.

also, plants look amazing. how many cycles have you already grown?

The vertical setup was what i had on hand, you're right about the heat vs. lumens but i often find myself getting the plants a little too close to counteract the lack of quality reflection. 1000 watt hps with a lumilux bulb, the spread is about 5'x5'. I do however see some sort off air cooled reflector (or cooltube) in my future.
I've lost count of cycles, but i would say around a half dozen maybe more.
Thanks for the kind words.

i see..

i wonder if vertical bulb + custom light mover would actually be better than horizontal + cool tube + light mover...

i made myself a cooltube recently and between that, a second fan (one intake, one exhaust) and setting the ballast on a shelf instead of the floor i've had temps drop from above ninety to VERY low 80s and high 70s with the light on. the diy tubes are ony four inch diameter though, the commercial ones are six which would help even more.

in two months you can see my 600w canadian closet's results
