I dont think it would have much luck getting through, ye olde huge amounts of wealth would convince a bunch of people that passing their baseball card collections on to their kids is what is getting discussed. There is a level of wealth beyond "they don't need to work" that most just don't grasp.Yeah, I think there should be a limit on how much you can inherit. A million dollars should be enough for anyone for a start. If you can’t thrive on that, we’ll you’re useless.
Edit: a million is roughly the cutoff where you can put money to work in a safe manner and just live off of it if you are frugal and not in an expensive area. Zero interest rates make that harder, particularly for the public, real rich folks get better rates and have access to investment vehicles the regular public doesn't.
