Agreed, but one can't deny that his administration is beginning to look an awful lot like...

"Clinton Administration:The Sequel"...yes?

Starting to look like a rerun to me.
OH GOD THE HORROR!!! I'm sure you are sad to see your boy leave, but a Democrat coming in is change enough for me.

Actually, natrone ... I was comparing the starry-eyed, stone-blind followers of Hitler, to the deceived followers of Obama. You know, like the people who hung on every word spoken by Obama, even though he only spoke in vague platitudes and appealed to the emotions of the misinformed and uninformed. People who follow any leader who says pretty things with no substance in order to avoid thinking at any cost.

You know man ... people exactly like you! bongsmilie

PS: Have you and your buddy "tips" formed that circle jerk yet?
You must be still angry from your messiah Sara Palin being exposed

Kind of like you hung on every word that McCain and Palin said? How many times did you beat your meat hoping that Palin would become the VP?
You have the Audacity to Call Palin Reagan in a dress? Please, Reagan had more class than that air head.

McCain was just as vague as Obama and had even less substance than Obama.

The Best McCain could muster were attack adds against Obama and tell old stories about the past. I realized that the past is all someone of His age really has, but the constant repeating of the same old story makes him look like he has dementia.

It's time you get over it Vi the conservatives fucked up and they are out of power. Since they got out of touch with America, the conservatives must suffer the consequences of their actions.

Took you this long to see the boy's quote? Not too terribly observant, are you Med? Perhaps an new lens prescription is in order, yes? It you can't do that, try increasing the font size on your machine or decrease the screen resolution. For the record, I asked him politely quite some time ago to remove it since I've never once said anything remotely close to the supposed quote. The fact that you've posted what you did speaks volumes regarding your nature...as well as the minor who originated it. I don't know why he's so intimidated by me, but I suppose it must be tough living in fear...I wouldn't know.

That would be an incorrect assumption on your part. Bush et al has overseen the largest expansion of Executive power in the history of the US. I'll reserve judgment as to whether the incoming administration rescinds that power. To be honest, I'm not too hopeful.

Well, maybe you don't have any hard feelings to see him go now, but my assumption that he WAS your boy when you voted for him must be right huh? lol I mean, now you don't like him, but who does...? Either way you voted for him, and you were wrong when you did kid.

Nope, not angry at all, natrone ... just disappointed in the stupidity of many of my fellow Americans (See Dankdude's above post). Well, that ... and I'm getting pretty tired of the snide remarks and the unnecessary petty personal attacks in this forum (see tip's quote in my signature).

I think "the change" is that Obama is picking intelligent, qualified, capable people for his cabinet, as opposed to his predecessor, who selected his cabinet based mostly on personal loyalty and political considerations.

It'll be so nice to have smart people in charge again. :hump:

Exactly which "conservatives" are you referring to here, Dankster? From what I could tell, we haven't had a conservative administration, since Reagan or a conservative congress since Newt Gingrich.

You don't get it, the country is centerist and the Republicans are saying that they need to get back touch with the Conservative base.... It shows you how out of touch the republicans really are.. And how out of touch with the rest of the country YOU really are.

What? Now you're not making any sense, Dank. I'm in total touch. I just said that we haven't had a conservative administration since Reagan. I agree with those Republicans who are saying they need to get back to their conservative base.

Either you didn't read my post, or you are just being a prick for being a prick's sake. Which is it? bongsmilie

Boy have we gotton into name calling since your boy McCain lost.
I read what you said and I'm not being a prick, I'm pointing out that your out of touch with how the country is.

No the Republicans don't need to get back to their base, since the Base is in the minority of the electorit in the country. The Country is centerist, not conservative or liberal.

Dank ...

I am NOT out of touch. I can see what's happening ... and its not "centrist." The Bloomberg report estimates that the total amount of bailout promises will exceed 7 trillion dollars. That's money that the new administration is going to put the citizens in debt for. Hardly centrist. Are you paying attention to Obama's appointments? Hardly centrist.

Now, I will agree with you that Americans in general, when looking at the overall picture, are politically in the center, or even right of center ... but what they continue voting for are fascist principles. Hardly centrist.

There is only one way to get the country back on track, and that is through conservative economic principles ... low taxes, smaller central government, sound money, along with more economic and political liberty.
