Seedling problems in dwc

Good morning everyone hope someone can help me with this. I noticed my seedlings new growth has yellow starting from the inside of the leaf and spreading outward. I have a 3.5 gallon bucket PH 5.86 at 69 degrees F. Ppm is 286. I’m using an LED light Lux is at 5500. I flushed the reservoir 2 days ago and the readings above are from the new water change. I put 4 ML of the 3 Gh nutes as directed on their website. I also added 1.5 ML of Cal Mag nothing is changing thanks.

How did you start your seeds? I'm no Dwc or hydro expert at all, but if it were me, I'd start them in rapid rooters like that in a dome for like 2 weeks to get a solid root system then put in the bucket.

Started in a rapid rooter and put into bucket once roots came out of the bottom of the rooter

Could I add epsom salt to the reservoir?
We need more clarity on your dilutions.

About 5.4 mL (total of all three) per gallon is how I read their online chart, Floraseries, light feed for seedlings. Your dilutions are way low, unless you meant per gallon instead of per 3.5 gallons. Got PPM or EC?

Thanks for your help guys hopefully the seedling recovers. Glad I joined this forum lots of poor information on the internet
Ime, it's been easier for me to pop the seed, grow a mom from it, and take clones, then put the clone into dwc. Seedlings are a PITA in dwc. That's just my opinion though. I'm sure many others do it successfully, just not me. Lol

Do you have a fan blowing on it? What are your temps? How close is the light?

Most likely issue is rapid rooter staying wet all day.

If your rapid rooter is moist all the time it will cause problems. I hate those things. I found it hard to get the wet dry cycle correct with them. Plant needs to dry out a lil bit or the roots will die. I just plop the seed in the rocks now. Has its own issues tho.

Yes I do have a small fan blowing on low. The rapid rooter saturated. Should I try and remove it and carefully place roots into hydroton? Air temp is 68 lights on 66 lights off. Light is about 28” above plant lux is at around 5000. Should I switch to rock wool?

That’s a good idea. I might go that route if I can’t get a couple of these seeds going thanks.

No. Just let the rooter dry out some. They need to be moist, not dripping wet.
