Well I was psyched to do the square foot gardening method but after seeing how much space I actually had to work with I went from four rows of four to three rows of three. I also had a Sicilian chili plant that I started earlier so I think space wise this is the best for the first time.
Chili, 2 dwarf tomatoes, 2 eggplants, 2 cucumber vines in one 5 gallon, 2 arugula or varied lettuces, and a carrot bucket being seeded tonight.
600W COB, I think I'm gonna run at 50%. Should be fun. Obviously not feeding the family, just some home grown produce.
In my 2X4 I have 5 plants from seed in 3 gallon containers. 320W COB. Will weed out the males and go with two best females.
I took a Limoncello male and pollinated a Grape Blow from Envy as well as my Tangie/Rainbow hybrid I've been growing for about 4 years. I used the F1s. They're still my favorite. I went to F3 with a mother and never got the results I got from the original F1s. Only had about 15-20 seeds left so experimenting to see if I get any cool phenos.
Anybody else try to grow a garden in a 4X4?
